Investment Q&A
Not investment advice or solicitation to buy/sell securities. Do your own due diligence and/or consult an advisor.
Q: With the price decline in CSU, would you buy for a TFSA now?
Q: I have both ZWU and ZUT in an RRSP account. For the next 5+ years, should I continue to hold both, or only one. If one, please supply your reasons. ZWU pays a much higher dividend, and has ZUT as it's largest holding, but over the last 5 years it has underperformed ZUT. Is it a case of deciding whether I want more potential growth or more potential income?
Q: Why would PEP be breaking down the way it is? Nose diving since last Sept. It's a good div. growth stock, would you recommend adding?
Thanks Ron

Q: In an unregistered account, what order would you add to PRL, DOL, SOBO, CNQ for a long term hold? Thank you.
Q: I have 2 Stocks in my Portfolio both of which have taken large hits recently resulting in sizeable pullbacks.
Both of these companies seemed to previously be doing well.
Would u say these stocks developed valuation issues or there was a material change in their fortunes currently or perceived going forward?
Would u hold, Buy more or sell these stocks at this point?

Q: I have held this for years, down 20%. Is the 9.44% yield a red flag?
Q: Happy new year to the 5i team and readers! In your Jan.6th answer to Judith you ranked App no.1. Can you please elaborate on why it’s a top pick and comment on valuation. I am concerned about valuation - but then again, I’ve sold many a growth stock prematurely due to this concern and missed out on gains!

Q: For and RRSP long term hold with drip on, what would be your choice in the oil/pipeline industry? With the new admin coming in on Jan20th south of us and hopefully an election here how could that affect this industry. FTS is already owned in the account. Thank you
Q: Happy New Year! WIll you be producing a list of companies that may have been sold off at year end (possibly due to tax loss selling or other) that may provide some good entry points. Thanks and the best to you and your team for 2025.
Q: Your last comment on IMAX was Sept 2023. Wondering how you feel about it today moving forward.
Q: What do you think about these two stocks. TSSI has been on a tear lately. BMR on the other hand is struggling but has some nice contracts with Nvidia and others.
Q: Happy new year! I read the news that vital hub has issued a short form prospectus, but I don't understand what this means. Does this mean dilution, or is it more positive for the stock? Would it be worth taking a nibble at this point?
