Q: How do you account for the change in value recently in Calian

Q: Was a previous owner of A&W Revenue Royalties Income Fund based on good recommendation from 5i years ago.

What do you think of them now? They suspended their dividend and then reinstated it and also have a special dividend now. Do you think it's a good growth stock still and good to wait for while collecting the reduced dividend?

Q: Infrastructure represents 5% of my portfolio and I would like to increase this to 10%.
Some suggestions other than Brookfield Infrastructure (held) both in Canada and US would be appreciated.

Q: NVDA up 200%, AMD up 180%, TSM up 79% and QCOM up 70% in one year. Can I have your opinion on which would have more legs for continued share rise given current conditions within these companies, etc. Thanks so much. Dam Dan

so... As per your comments couple of days ago referring to a positive outlook for ATZ being dependent on the Oct 14 earnings call, I am assuming??? the very positive move today (up over 8%) is a result of a good report yesterday?

If you could please provide your opinion of the recent ATZ Earnings Call and any forward looking opinions you may have.

Also, in consideration for the very negative a brick & mortar report (malls primarily) which I saw yesterday along with the very positive on-line shopping results reported, are there any other companies which are related to on-line shopping you think we should consider moving forward in 2021come as we/if we come out the other end of Covid? Also, please confirm ATZ & LSPD are considered Industrials.

ps... presently my portfolio has a 5% position ATZ & 4.8% LSPD

Q: Since you are you are removing BEPC from the model portfolio , what stock will you be adding to the portfolio to replace.?

Q: On Oct 1, Beam Therapeutics announced an equity offering priced at $23.50/share; over the following days, the share price declined to as low as $22.24, i.e., below the offering price, though not as low as would reflect the dilutive effect of the new shares.

Yet today shares traded as high as $34.38; what, if anything, can we infer from this disconnect? Who would pay so much when new shares can be had at 2/3 the price?

Q: Recently heard that E-commerce is entering car selling and buying sector. Carvana Co. and Vroom Inc. are two US companies selling and buying cars online. I wonder if they are a rival to each other. If yes, who is the sector leader? What do you think of this space? investable?

Q: A few weeks ago you said that close to 40 % of the dividend paid by ZWU in2019 was actually return of equity. Would you know if this would be more or less true about most years?
Also, you don't seem to have a very high opinion of ZWU. Why then do you include it in your Model ETF Portfolio?

Q: Government uses previous year total income to determine if one is qualified for GIS (guaranteed incoming supplement). I would like to know if the GIS received from previous year is also included in the "total income" calculation? The Government of Canada site does not seem to be very clear. Thanks.

Q: What do you think of this company? Is it comparable to EMA/FTS? Anything to recommend it over a Canadian equivalent?
