Q: I own ABT, and it’s down 8% today. Would it be a good idea to add to it? Thank you,

Q: I know you are not specialist of out of Canada companies but Röko AB is an investment company, founded in 2019 that specializes in the long-term acquisition and ownership of profitable small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Europe.
Their approach is that of a "perpetual owner," meaning they do not intend to sell the companies they acquire, similar to CSU.
Their strategy is based on the following principles:
Company Portfolio
Röko holds a diversified portfolio of companies across Europe. Here are a few examples to illustrate the variety of their investments:
Addedo (Sweden): A software reseller and consulting firm specializing in financial consolidation.
Atemag (Germany): A developer and manufacturer of components for CNC machines.
Les Deux (Denmark): A men's fashion brand.
ETB Technologies (United Kingdom): A specialist in refurbished enterprise IT hardware.
Oppigårds (Sweden): One of Sweden's leading craft breweries.
Pureoptics (France): A provider of network transceivers and cables.
Financial Information and IPO
I read that Röko AB completed its Initial Public Offering (IPO) on Nasdaq Stockholm in March 2025, generating strong interest from institutional and retail investors.
My question is: Is this a copycat of CSU and would you invest in it considering it's market cap ?
Do you like the CEO Fredrik Karlsson, was previously the CEO of Lifco, another highly successful Swedish serial acquirer ?

Q: At what price point does CPRT become a compelling buy? A month ago you said it was still too expensive to consider, it has dropped nearly 5% since. Would you step in here?
Also, I am very pleased with my subscription upgrade to include analytics. Can you please provide more clarity about your monthly stock selections? Are they meant to be ideas for a trade or for a buy and hold? It would be helpful if you could specify that for each pick.
Thank you

Q: Can you provide your latest thoughts on this company based on your fundamental analysis. Technically it appears to have formed a base after declining for quite some time.
How does the future look for this company. I believe they are in the right space based on our consumeristic habits.
Thinking of putting in my TFSA.
Thanks very much

Q: Which company has the most upside.
-
iShares Core Canadian Long Term Bond Index ETF (XLB $18.67)
-
iShares 20+ Year Treasury Bond ETF (TLT $87.63)
Q: Good afternoon 5i;
I have been a holder of the TLT ETF for some time; only a very short period was it in the green. While the yield has been decent, I am now down 14% as the Jerome Powell cage gets rattled.
My question is simply, are the Trumpian risks becoming too much to hold this ETF? I believe he is radical enough to remove Powell, but likely won't and will just continue to make noise. Even the noise is having impact.
If yes, do you have a Canadian Bond Fund you might recommend of similar characteristics?

Q: I am impressed with your Portfolio Analytics services - thank you! It seems I am underweight in both Real Estate and Basic Materials. Could you please suggest 2-3 growthy names (Canadian or US) in each of these sectors?
Q: Would you please give me your opinion on this new ticker "GrabAGun Digital Holdings PEW:NYSE ; " .
Thanks
Thanks
Q: I’m approaching retirement and looking to shift my portfolio away from value and growth-focused investments toward an income-oriented strategy. My primary goal is to generate regular, reliable cash flow through dividend-paying stocks, rather than relying on capital appreciation.
I’d appreciate your recommendations on the following:
• Your top 10 Canadian dividend-paying stocks suitable for income investing
• Suggested sector allocations for building a balanced and diversified income portfolio
Thanks in advance for your insights!

Q: NBIS market cap is much lower than CRWV yet NIBS has more offerings in autonomous driving, robotics, training etc. It was nice to see the recent GS price target of $68.
Do you see a pathway for NBIS market cap to expand further as they continue to execute and get discovered?

Q: Keeps moving to the right. What is the current institutional ownership? Can't just be retail investors moving the stock higher. Seems like analysts want to like the stock but they keep putting out low share price targets because of valuation.
Did TSLA, NVDA, AMZN etc have stretched valuations and then they grew into them? Can you see PLTR at a 1T market cap valuation over time?

Q: Are there any mutual funds or ETFs which invest in Private equity? Or simply buy the companies (Blackrock, Fairfax, KK etc) to get that exposure. I would like to add that for diversification but need direction.
Q: Does 5i use technical investing and are there any websites or resources you would recommend? Thx

Q: hi folks:
i try my best to avoid any counter party risk in my portfolio (because i am a luddite and think the derivative markets are in search of a pin)
2 questions:
are there any crypto etfs/funds that you are aware of that actually hold the underlying crypto asset?
seondly (with the same proviso) are you aware of a'one stop' crypto etf that would have say 50% BTC and the balance allocated amongst the 'others'
overall, looking for a one ticket solution with actual ownership
thank you
ps. as i understand it,. assets like IBIT, ETC ......do not meet the 'ownership criteria' noted; whereas FBTC (fidelity) and BTCC (purpose) do

Q: Please give us your best guess as to what is happening with REGN. Everything looks okay for a hold but the market seems to disagree with JP Morgan who has a 800$ target (almost 50% upside). Opportunity or falling knife?
Thanks to you and o all the members for excellent questions and contribution

Q: Hi, now that ATD has formally dropped the proposed take over of 7-Eleven, where do you see the stock price reverting to? Low-mid 70's ...until they announce their next deal.?
I have owned (and trimmed) over the last 10+ years so have done well but I don't think I will get the same returns as I have previously. Can you please suggest a replacement?
Thank you!
Steve
