Q: I realize I am veering off course here, but would appreciate if you could rate the following US stocks from a growth perspective. The time frame would be 5 to 8 years - best to worst. Feel free to add if you wish. Thank you.

Q: Hi 5i:

I currently hold KEYS and KXS at substantial gains, thanks to 5i, at about 7% of my portfolio. I would like to raise my technology allocation. I have held, gained and sold RPD and FDC previously. Would you go back to them at this point or consider a position in BOX. My $US exposure is about 13% of portfolio. Another option would be to iniatate positions in OTEX and/or DSG. My portfolio is well balanced. Any new positions would be in my TFSA. Please deduct as appropriate.
Thank you for your opinion. Regards

Sinc

Q: I've noticed that despite the tech meltdown recently, some have held up quite well such as RPD (Rapid 7). I found this a bit surprising given that the company was smaller than others such as NVDA.

Is the relative strength a positive sign? Are there other notable tech companies with positive relative strength vs peers? Thanks!

Q: Hi team,
I saw an interesting question last week on the metrics for evaluating stocks in different sectors. You did not mention the tech sector. I am curious on those metrics where there are many companies, trends, growth prospects, competitors, among others. Many companies show no earnings at all as they are investing for earnings down the road. So how do you compare these companies?

With the market unrest the past couple of months, I have looked more closely at your Companies section where there is a wealth of information. Take 3 cloud stocks that regularly show up on your favourites list: BOX, RPD and TEAM. None have earnings today. There are non-earnings metrics shown, such as price to sales and price to cash flow. On a price to sales basis, BOX is 4.5, RPD is 6.3 and TEAM is 22.3. Box is the winner with RPD a reasonably close 2nd. On a price to cash flow basis, BOX is 32, RPD is 620 and TEAM is 60. BOX again is the winner but RPD is a poor 3rd. I know numbers don’t tell the whole story, but I am not sure how to make any reasonable evaluations based on the metrics.

Thanks for the insight.

Q: I hold the above and they all had favorable comments from 5i on growth at one point. Is growth still intact? Do you see anything that's changed in the companies or the environment that would affect any of these? They are inside an RSP for long term growth. TIA!

Q: Hi, please give me your thoughts on this microcap. The main product, MobiKEY, seems useful for data security and privacy. Do you see data security/privacy as an area for growth in light of the recent FB data issues? Any other names to watch or look at in a similar business? Thanks.
