Q: Hi there,
From my understanding these two companies are similar. Of course MGNI is smaller, soaring and according to MS is at fair value. While TTD is double MS fair value.

It was mentioned that TTD would have been Peter's Top Pick #4 on the last BNN visit.
So given all this... would you suggest MGNI (I have a 1/3 position already) or TTD? Many thanks.

Q: I would like to know what you can suggest as a canadian bond ETF that is reliable and gives a decent performance. I currently have XGB (IShares Cdn Government Bond Index ETF) but the yield is low. Previously I had MFT (Mackenzie Floating Rate Income ETF) giving a better yield. Is one is better than the other or is there a better choice? Also, is there any bond that instead of giving a yield gives a capital gain? It would be particularly interesting for my non registered account since I want to reduce the amount of interest that I receive to avoid clawback.

Q: I'm trying to get control of the major components of the Brookfield Corporation and what percentage of the company they make up. I understand that BEPC AND BIP.UN are parts of the group and that they seen to be adding to its success. My question is what percentage of the company do they make up and what other major segments of the company exist and what percentage of Brookfield do they comprise? I currently own some shares. Do you think now is a good time to add to a reasonable position?

Q: Hi,

What's your opinion on owning BAM.A and then also holding some of its subsidiaries? If one holds BAM.A, should that prevent us from holding the others? Or can we use BAM.A as a core holding and then trade the subsidiaries?

Q: Hi 5i team,
I am looking to increase my 'energy'/utility sector by adding two of the following ETF's ICLN, LIT, TAN, or FAN. I do not own any traditional energy stock/ETFs. Concurrently, I would like to increase my US and international exposure. I currently own the following relevant stock/ETFs.
Utility: BEP, AQN
US: VGG, ZSP, XQQ, IWO
International: XEF, VE, ZEM
Which two ETFs would you recommend based on long term growth expectations and geographical diversification of portfolio?

Q: I was wondering if a managed portfolio account with one of the "wealth management" departments at a large Canadian bank (RBC, BMO etc.) is charged transactional fees for securities buys and sells in addition to the quarterly % fee?
In other words, if a stock is purchased in such an account is there a "hidden fee" added to the ACB (adjusted cost base) for the transaction?
I've noticed that on the monthly statements the "unit price" for purchasing a Canadian equity usually has 3 decimal points for the unit cost. That leads me to believe that they are including a fee in the unit price which distorts the unit cost. Am I wrong?
