Q: Could I get your opinion of NVU.UN. I know it took a hit during the turndown in oil, and is not a really large company. Also largely based in Western Canada I believe.

Q: Hi Peter and Team,
What is your thought on Propress Software (US) 2nd quarter earnings?
The result seemed not exciting but the stock rise in after hours trading. Would you expect there would be strong growth in the following quarters ahead?
Do you like this company?
Thank you as always. Pui

Q: I currently hold a full position of BPY in a taxable account.
An overweight position of BIP and a half position of BEP in
a non taxable account. The three comprise sixteen percent
of my total portfolio. I have sizable gains in both BPY and BIP.
Too many eggs in Brookfield companies? What would you
suggest as a reasonable percentage and how would you rank
the companies as to quality?
Thank you for considering my question(s)

Q: Hello 5i: Do you have any comments to make about PIH? It looks like a very interesting, under-followed Canadian small cap
Q: My tech sector comprises OTEX & KXS.
KXS has done very well this past year whereas OTEX is now back where it was at that time. It seemed to be on a losing trend before it acquired COVS - which only seemed to make it worse. What's your opinion, where do you think it might be heading? Anything positive to say? Your advice very much appreciated.

Q: I don't know about Exco down 20% holding for a long time. Magna and Martinrea doing so much better. I know you keep saying it is cheap but I want to make some money. Bought at $14.00 and it is now $10.75.
Q: An ex-client of HomeCapital who has made a few posts on Twitter has been saying that Home Capital illegally over-charges customers in trouble. Something about a section 8. Could you look at the statement shared in this tweet and tell us what you think? It seems unbelievable that clients could have been over-charged by tens of thousands of dollars without this having surfaced in the news before now. Apparently management has not answered questions regarding this. Truely, this story is turning into a mystery novel. Thanks.

Q: Wow! I asked my first question and it was answered with an hour or two. Spectacular service folks (not just the quick answer, but everything else too). I have really enjoyed this service over the last couple of years. Oh yeah, and that goes for the ETF and Mutual Fund Update as well as Canadian Money Saver Magazine. Much appreciated.

Q: Hi 5i,
I hold some Callidus (CBL) and I am inclined to keep holding and collecting the dividends while management works on growing the business and works out some kind privatization deal that they will find acceptable. I noticed though that my online broker recently updated its indication of the number of floating shares, reducing it from 12M to 9.24M. Aside from liquidity issues, are there any risks (for shareholders like me) associated with the share float becoming too small? Also, what is the extent of the short interest in the stock and, if indicated in percentage terms, is that a percentage of the issued shares or a percentage of the floating shares? Thanks.

Do you think it is fair value?
Value trap?
