Q: Correct me if I am wrong, the above mentioned names operate in the same space. If so, which one would you suggest I add to my portfolio at this time. Or would you suggest positions in more than one.

Q: Which one of these two investments would you buy now and why? Both seem decently cheap.
Q: Good morning,
Thx as always for your terrific insight. With the recent move in SQ, would you use a move to STNE being a decent move seeing that it has not recovered nearly as well? Worth holding both?
TIA

Q: At this juncture and going forward a year or two, which would you prefer Loblaws, Weston Metro Sobeys
Is there any reason to split a purchase or just go with whichever one you think is strongest overall.
In the U.S. same questions which vendor is strongest.
Thank you....

Q: I plan on buying PBH - waiting til after Q1 report May 11th as I think news could be bad? I was looking at SYSCO in the USA as a buy as well? Are they similar companies in terms of the products they supply? No point buying both - I'd have to use CDN $$ as well fro the US position. What do you think about PBH in light of meat supply and maybe increased costs?
Q: Could you please comment on their results and outlook?

Q: Hello 5i Team
I am comparing the retail REITs and the two distinct groupings in the sector:
Group 1 - REITs majority owned by parent operating company and the majority source of the REIT's income. These would be Choice Properties REIT (CHP.UN), Crombie REIT (CRR.UN) and CT REIT (CRT.UN).
Group 2 - REITS with a large diverse portfolio. These would be First Capital REIT (FCR.UN), Riocan REIT (REI.UN) and SmartCentres REIT (SRU.UN).
The questions I have are:
1 - What would be your ranking of the REITs in Group 1 and your ranking of the REITs in Group 2?
2 - Which is the better Group to select from Group 1 or Group 2?
3 - Any other retail oriented REITs I should be looking at?
Thanks

Q: What are your top 5 stocks for TFSA? This is for long term.
Q: RBOT was up over 5% today. Nikkei and Nasdaq are only up around half that. Do you know the reason for the big move?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Q: I notice that the daily volume of trading with most of the stocks I own is well below the average. Doesn’t that make this recovery more fragile? Bill
Q: My daughter's mortgage is up for renewal in December. The bank called and offered to renew early. She is currently paying 2.64% (5 yr fixed) and they offered 2.87%. She was asking my thoughts on what rates might do over the next 5 years and whether to take their offer?
My initial thoughts are a) USA-Cdn rates will probably go lower (and possibly negative) to stimulate the economy; b) the bank is calling now to try to lock in her mortgage at a higher rate as opposed to in December when rates will most likely be lower. My guess is to decline the offer.
What does your crystal ball show regarding interest rates over the next 5 year period?
Thanks...Steve
ps We bought our 1st house at 20.25% and our lowest rate was 8%. So from that perspective, at sub 3% who cares?

Q: The only similarity in these two is that they both focus on cancer. Would 5i advise for or against a new position in either one? I understand that CALA is more speculative and in trials while SGEN is more established. More than happy to take on risk with either position if initiating. Your thoughts on why each are a buy or not?
Q: HI Peter and Team, Would you prefer ZQQ or TEC ( this will be regular made purchase for TFSA with 5 yr time frame). Not sure how currency impacts each of them.
Thanks
Thanks
Q: I’d appreciate your assessment of this stock
Thank you!
Thank you!
Q: Hello Peter,
While SQ holds the promise when the retailers open, it does not really matter for PYPL. Which one would you suggest.
In your presentation at the MoneyShow yesterday you mentioned DXCOM in the healthcare sector with an increasing demand, company raising guidance and now being included in the index.
If I were to take a position in it, I will not be able to have positions in both SQ and PYPL. Which of these two would you suggest I let go.
Or would you suggest I hold them both and take a pass at DXCM instead.
As always, your opinion is appreciated.
Regards.

Brookfield Infrastructure Corporation Class A Exchangeable Subordinate Voting Shares (BIPC)
Q: There is news that Brookfield Infrastructure LP reduced the dividend by 10%. I suspect this simply reflects the dividends declared on Brookfield Infrastructure Corp, not a real reduction for the enterprise as a whole. Is this correct?
Q: Hello
I would like to have your outlook on both companies.
Which one do you see as a buy in the current COVID situation with more companies favoring working employees from home .
Can you also comment on the companies earnings and debt.
Thank you
