Q: I've been following these stocks for some time and while all risk picks, they do have some appeal to me. They've also all been beaten down the last while - do you have any thoughts on which of these you would find the most appealing currently, or how you would rank them?
Thank you for your advice and all the information you provide.

Q: What is your opinion on QS's future. Has the company made any significant break throughs in solid state batterie manufacturing? Would you buy at this time or is there another company in area that you would prefer. Thanks
Q: I have trimmed some of my oil % gas stocks today back to my sector weight and would like to rotate the proceeds to other stocks. I already have the Balance Portfolio of stocks including MG at full position and was thinking of buying some LNR to complement MG or do you think there are other stocks in the Balanced Portfolio that you would consider more compelling at this time? Could you name your preference? Thanks.
Q: We have money put away for a 17-year old's growth portfolio (long time horizon of over 10 years, no need for income and willingness to take risk).
Portfolio already has VTI, SKYY, BYD, TSU & SHOP. Thinking of adding DCBO for the balance of cash. Would you endorse this? Or would you recommend a different holding?
Q: Can you provide your assessment of Patria. How do you compare it against Brookfield or Blackrock? Is there good long term opportunity? The overview and strategy of the company looks sound, and in early innings. Thank you.
Q: With more concern about an economic slow down or hopefully not, recession on the horizon, I have been thinking about being more defensive than I have been in the past.
So, I was wondering how well did the Low Volatility ETF's hold up during the big meltdown of 2020, and did they actually do the job that the name implies, and not go down as much as the rest of the TSX.
Would you be more inclined to just hold some XIU, or just ZLB, or both, along with 10-15 individual highest conviction stocks, and try to enjoy the next 6-12 months some what worry free.
Q: Given your recent answer regarding CROX, I had a look at the sector and noticed big moves yesterday. Also many of these are very near lows for the year. My question is would you put money to work in the sector now? Do you have a few favourites and is there an ETF that emphasizes this retail/clothing part of consumer discretionary as opposed to something like XLY which emphasizes very different segments? Thank-you again.
Q: ZPR continues to slide. Can you explain why, given rising rates should be helping? Do you see it coming back or is it time to exit. Pref's always seems to be a burn. Thanks.
With interest rates going up, why isn't CPD also going up? I would have though the rate reset prefs would get better traction in a rising rate environment.
Q: Pre COVID there were some interesting AGMs to attend, and sometimes a lavish spread depending on how much the Co. wanted to impress its investors. Now out of ~20 notices in my mailbox only GSY has a real life AGM, the rest being online.
Is online the new norm for these functions or is GSY the first to return to the old ways? Since it's happening at noon, the meeting at least has promise of finger food!
Q: What, in your opinion, would be the best Canadian energy company to purchase today, with the lowest debt, the best management and with the greatest future potential?
Q: X's recent quarter showed exemplary revenue growth, but in the new environment of higher investment capital costs, what is the argument for thinking that growth on this scale (15% YoY) can continue? Put another way, has X become overbought relative to the growth potential of its recurring, rate-independent revenue streams?
I wish to park a large amount of money for a few months to earn a little interest.
Safety is a priority; do you have some suggestions?
Thanks for everything
brian
Q: Hi Peter, In my case I only have 5 shares of SHOP what's going to happen in this case when they split and when it comes to splits if one is thinking to buy more of the company is it better to buy before or after the split. Thanks, Nick
