Q: Hi Peter,

On January 10, you were asked a question about Loblaw Preferred Stock (L.PR.B). I really appreciated the relevance of your comments (a net benefit of being a 5i member) and bought it for the income. My question is, do you know of any other perpetual preferred shares that meet the same definition as what you stated (of all the preferred shares out there like this: (Of all the preferreds out there, this would be in our 'no need to worry' category, easily).

Thank you

Q: Hi Team 5i,
Can you please recommend a financial software that can be used to develop a retirement strategy for withdrawing funds from RRSP, TFSA, Investment accounts, etc.?
Of particular value would be a platform that details how to draw down funds and at what amount and/or percentage of one's overall portfolio on an annual basis.
Thank you.

Q: I own some of the above preferred shares which reset on April 30/23. If Artis REIT does not call the preferred they reset at 5 year GOC (currently 3.454%) plus 3.93% or about 7.38% . Alternatively, I can covert to the floating rate of 90 day t-bills (currently 4.7%) plus 3.93%. or about 8.63%. I noticed not many preferred with the option to convert to floating rate are successful as they normally require a minimum number of shares . Is there a reason? Are t-bills rates more volatile than GOC rates? Any recommendations?

Q: What is the correct symbol to trade the Mercedes ADR in the US.
I get DMLRY when I search it in my service provider. I have also seen MBGYY and MGBAF but can’t trade those apparently. Also no recent trade history comes up. Why is that, can’t believe it’s not trading?
Thanks,
Len

Q: Hi 5i,

I have owned GOOS for the past 3yrs and I am questioning the company's prospects moving forward giving their performance and their dependence on the Chinese economy for growth.

Considering replacing GOOS with ATZ. Management seems to execute well and their track record of growth is impressive.

Would appreciate your thoughts.

Thank you in advance.

Q: It looks like LNTH’s fortunes changed fairly dramatically on or about Feb. 24th 2022. At the time there were two press releases; Feb. 23rd re: FDA approval of new manufacturing facility, and Feb. 24th Q4 and full year 2021 Financial Results. Do you know which precipitated the sharp rise in share price, or was it a combination of both? Just trying to figure out exactly what the market might have loved so much at the time, and if you think it is still proving out? Thank you for any insight you might have.
