Q: You answered my question about Linde and the kinds of materials you expect to be in demand in the future. Could you please match up some company names to your suggestions? As a reminder, here is part of your response:
"Materials which we think might be in great demand in the future include: lithium and cobalt (lithium-ion batteries for EV and renewable energy storage), graphene (exceptional strength and conductivity), and advanced alloys (aerospace and automotive industries)."
Thanks,
V

Q: Hi fellows,
These are big loosers in my TFSA, more than 50%. Do you see any chance of a significant upside for these stocks in a reasonable time frame or further deterioration ? I am tempted to liquidate them and recover a bit of cash for a better investment. What would you do if you were in my shoes ?
Gratefully,
Jacques IDS

Q: Except for CTS, ATZ, SHOP and LAC all of these, once darlings, are below where they were 5 years ago and all of them are down sharply from their all-time highs. Can you provide your thoughts on which, if any, of these stocks will be able to get back to their old highs and a guess on when. Also, please identify your top picks (ones that you are sure will survive and thrive in the next 2 to 3 years) and your bottom picks (ones that are destined to struggle for years). They don’t all need to go into those two groups, as the future of some of them may be fuzzy. A sentence or two on why you placed these stocks in these groups would be appreciated. Thanks
Q: why the recent selloff down 37% thanks
Q: I bought LAC shortly before the spin-off. It's now been a bit over a week since the spin-off and my brokerage account shows LAAC with a cost per share which is equal to my original cost of LAC. And it shows LAC of having a cost which is about 71% of the original cost. (So it shows the combined cost for both is 71% higher than the actual cost). Do you know how the cost was supposed to be applied between the two?
Q: Any preference of the two lithium companies and why? Thanks.
Q: After the planned split of LAC I see at my TFSA account (with RBC Direct Investment) only the LAC shares but no signs of LAAC (second part of split). At the same time they say that LAAC shares commenced trading on NYSE this morning. Please advise should I undertake something for clarification fo this issue or it is just a transition problems and thigs will be automatically set up soon? Thank you!
Q: I am down about 40% on lac. Is it worth averaging down? I thought that the outlook for lithium and lac is extremely positive?
Q: Hi Team,
Can you please provide your opinion on the quarter of these two?
Thanks

Q: I owned shares in Arena Minerals, which was bought out by lithium Americas. What is my cost base for my LAC shares based on a purchase price of .276 per Arena share. How do I determine that? On my new statement showing the LAC shares the cost base shows as zero. I’ve never been involved in a buyout before. Thanks for the help as always.

Q: Can you please give us your recommendations on Nickle, Cooper and Platinum stocks and ETF for both Markets.

Can you also provide your recommendations on Mining, Chemical Processing, Battery Component Production and Battery Cell Production stocks and ETF in both Markets.
Thanks for the great service you have been providing to small investors at reasonable price.
