Q: Can you explain the differences between qqq and elk? What are the strengths and weaknesses of each? What are the differences in their portfolio composition? Which would you hold for pure growth?
Q: I understand that XL K will be rebalancing on Friday after market closing. Currently Nvidia has a 6 to 7% weighting in the XL K. This will increase with the rebalancing given the large increase in Nvidia’s value.
will this necessarily mean that the XLK will open at a significantly higher price next week. And would that justify adding to XLK now. Thank you.

Q: I notice that lately, the Premium of stock price vs NAV has shrunk considerably to the level of .09 at this time. Is this because of lower Canadian interest rates and what is the likelihood of its trading below NAV if rates continue to decline from here? Thanks
Q: Thanks to recently learning about CDR's, I've been able to add NVDA (already up 20%) and LLY to my portfolio, which otherwise is dominated by TSX-listed stocks.
I'm interested in five other CDR's. Please rank them from your highest conviction pick to your least favourite: Amazon, Alphabet, Apple, Microsoft and AVGO.
Thank you very much for your service and advice. Pete.

Q: Have been considering a purchase of Intact Financial for exposure to insurance sector. But already own BRK.B , which I tend to think of in terms of its portfolio of holdings , but has at its core their insurance business .
Different animals , I guess , but how would you think about this ?
All other considerations aside , would you add to BRK.B or initiate a position in IFC ?
