Q: Good afternoon!
I have some substantial cash to deploy, ideally into Canadian dividend payers at 4% or more. I already have many of the usual suspects, including the following: ENB, BCE, PPL, BNS, CM, LIF, SIA, T, LIF, BEP.UN, DIR.UN, FSZ
I have been waiting until the December sell-off (i.e. Benj Gallander’s suggestion that it is the best time to buy), hoping to find some that have made the sell list that are good candidates for bounce backs in the future. After observing the market in the early stages of tax-loss selling, would you have some names that might fit that bill? Ideally maybe 5 or 6, although I realize that is a tall order, perhaps! Again, I am seeking dividend paying Canadian equities paying 4% or more.
Thanks! Paul

Q: Hi - do you have any concerns about CGI's growth with US Gov't contracts once the Dept of Elon/Vivek starts to cut "costs"?
Q: How often do you think an average investor, long-term focused, should check prices of stocks in their portfolio?
What about for a long-term investor who also considers momentum in buy-sell decisions?
Thanks!

Pacer US Small Cap Cash Cows ETF (CALF)
Q: I currently hold CALF and SLYV-A as part of my small-cap part of my portfolio. SLYV is up 21.05%, while CALF is only 5.21% in one year. IWM is up 28.42% in the same period. I want to sell CALF and buy IWM. Alternatively, buy IWR as a mid-cap may have better potential.
Q: Thanks for your response to my previous question. Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse, CVS is down 4% this morning on this news:
A Senate bill, sponsored by Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.) and Josh Hawley (R., Mo.), would force the companies that own health insurers or pharmacy-benefit managers to divest their pharmacy businesses within three years.
But surely, if CVS divested their pharmacy business then the proceeds could be used to reduce their debt? So why has the market reaction been so harsh?

Q: Hello, what are your thoughts on this company at current price valuations and its prospects over next five plus years.
Q: I’m trying to decide which company to add money to for my TFSA. GoEasy has had quite the pullback from being over $200 not too long ago, and is cheaper than Propel. Can you make a case for which one you would choose? Thank you
Q: Given current market conditions, what would be the major headwinds facing ZCS? It seems fairly resilient during Dow declines. Thanks.
Q: What do you think of the 30 stock holdings in this etf, cover most bases for a good etf holding?
Thanks again

Q: Good morning,
About a month ago I took a tax-loss sale on BCE. Was a ~ 2% weighting. My 30 day "waiting period" is up this Friday, and now I am undecided as to buy it back, initiate a 2% position in SOBO, or do 1% BCE and 1% SOBO. I know you don't love to comment on portfolio weightings, but if you were me, what would you do?
Thanks as always.

Q: Comparing a 5 year chart of GLXY to the price of Bitcoin, there is a noticable correlation it seems to me which on one hand makes perfect sense, on the other hand as the company matures and the space they are in is growing exponetially, I wonder why the stock isnt outperforming? I'm wrestling with " pigs get slaughtered" against "you dont get rich selling after a 100% gain".
