5i Research Answer:

We are comfortable with preferreds in general, and a laddered preferred will typical have lower rate risk. Preferred can be very frustrating at times, but for conservative investors they can serve an income role, certainy. ZPR now has a five year annualized return of 11.05%, and the pain of 2022 (down 22%) is starting to fade with better recent performance (up 21% last year).
