Had to trim some of my US holdings today due to portfolio balancing/management.
Hoping you could recommend some potential US stocks to redeploy this capitol over the next few months when the opportunity comes up. Looking to hold for at least 5+ years and I am interested in growth and ok with risk.
I have already enough exposure to AI stocks (AMD/VRT/GOOG/MSFT). I am open to any other sector you suggest but was leaning towards something in the real estate or industrial sector.
Q: In May 2024 you answered a question rewarding building a portfolio of US stock: Q: Suppose our extraterrestrial friend, Blaarg, seeks to diversify their portfolio by investing in the U.S. market. Which 12-15 top U.S. stocks would you recommend for them over the next decade? Thanks

5i Research Answer:
Here are some of the high-quality US names with moderate risks and reasonable valuations that we think investors could do well by owning a basket of these names over the long term. Although these may not the the best winners, we think these could be considered as compounders such as BKNG, ULTA, AXON, ABNB, UBER, ADBE, FI, ODFL, HEI, AZO, ORLY, ARES.
Would your answer be the same today. If not, what would be your list today? Thanks
Q: A major downgrade on this stock in the last day or 2 and quite a hit to the price as well when you consider most AI stocks appear to be on their way back up. Karl Ackerman is citing over supply of their memory chips which if lower prices result he would adjust his target price lower yet. Do you think this is accurate information, or perhaps almost like a short report. Can you go over their recent sales, EPS metrics and outlook? Please advise if you would buy this and if so at what price. Thank you.
John
Q: What are your thoughts on this company. I noticed it went down to $87.00 US for the second time and now it is starting to slowly climb. Is this a stock you feel one should be purchasing. What are to projections for 2025. Again thank you for your service and good work.
Q: Hello 5i
What is the outlook for Salesforce over the next few years?
I’ve owned it for many years but am tempted to move on to better opportunities.
Thank you
Dave
Q: I wanted to push back a little on the last answer. You noted they have high debt. The release said they have over 200 million cash and no external debt. Also you referred to eps next year as dropping to 2020 levels. The company started in late 2022 and I see forecasts as growing. I do agree the sentiment is horrible and I believe it is tied to the short position and tactics. However I really think this is a great buying opportunity when this stops dropping and settles at an ridiculous level. I was hoping you would agree.
Q: Please comment on latest Q results, company & going forward.A 9% haircut in after hours in response to Q results.Add,Hold or sell?Txs for U usual great services & views
Q: I have some cash in my TFSA and would like to add to one of my smaller holdings - AMD, VRT, AXON, LMN. Would you be able to rank in which order you would add? Thanks!
Q: Can you recommend a few small cap. tech companies tied to AI that could have outsized gains due to their unique potential with higher but OK debt that may provide further leveraged gains with interest rate declines?
Q: This one year new ETF holds around 100 US small caps and tries to select the most profitable in the field thus ideally removing what many experts lament as the main issue with holding broadly the Russell 2000 namely the large number of high debt unprofitable companies therein. Would appreciate your view on the strategy, the managers, and the holdings of this ETF and of course any other comment. Thank you.
