Q: I’ve been holding qualacom at a loss for 2 years or so and am now considering moving on after the earnings release tonight as I don’t want to ride it back to the lows. Is there a stock that is down after today’s big drop that you would suggest on a trade? I was considering either sedg or PAyc. Thank you!

Q: I have a sizable capital loss for 2023 right now. I'm starting to think of selling some of my winners in my non-reg accounts to wipe that cap loss out this year. Three of the companies where I have capital gains are Hubspot, Mastercard, and The Trade Desk. What strategy would you recommend for me in selling some or all of these 3 positions to erase the capital loss. MA has been a longterm winner for me, but I worry about Fintech competitors eating into their business. I'd appreciate your insights on whether Hubspot has a rosy future or whether its best times are behind it. The Trade Desk is my most confident position, but, of course, I'd appreciate your opinion. Q: Hi 5i Team - Could you suggest a few cyber security stocks, Canadian and U.S., including established companies that are profitable as well as two or three newer ones that show some promise but may or may not be profitable yet. Any market cap is fine. Thanks.

Q: Hi. I’m thinking of investing 2 to 4% of my portfolio in crypto as a diversifier: half in Bitcoin and half in Ethereum. But for a number of reasons I don’t want to invest directly myself, I’m thinking ETFs might be a good option. Have you done some research on Canadian Bitcoin ETFs and Ethereum ETFs? Which ETF for each coin would you recommend? Do you know which ones purchase the crytos directly? Or do they use future contracts, which I understand when they are rolled over causes slippage in the price of the ETF versus the underlying Bitcoin. Also, in the consideration is which one has the best MER? And final consideration which one has the best tracking error. Could you tell the best ETF for both Bitcoin and Ethereum, and why. Or are there better options in the US? Or do you think it is just a bad strategy overall?

Q: Good Evening 5i Crew,
I bought 100 shares of Nvidia about 18 months ago and I am up 95%. I strongly believe in the capabilities of this company and the part it will play in technology over the next 5-10 years. However the noise around valuation is getting pretty loud. Do you suggest selling 50% (getting my original investment out) of the shares and play with the house money? I have a 5-10 year horizon

Q: Good day 5i,

I currently hold positions in 5 semi-conductor companies: Nvidia, ASML, AMD, Taiwan Semi and Axcelis. I'd like to concentrate the positions in order to make the remaining positions more meaningful. However, I like all of these companies and feel they all have great growth ahead. If you were to concentrate this group, which would you sell? With those funds, in what order would you add to the others? Or would you keep all of them?

Growth-oriented investor, comfortable with volatility.

Q: Hi Everyone at 5i!!
I have hit the breakeven point with ICE and am thinking of selling it and buying another more growthy US holding. This is in my TFSA. I was thinking of adding it to my Microsoft. shares. I have Nvida already. Could you suggest any other US stocks? Would you consider keeping ICE??
