Q: this stock has been given a good review on BNN and is in your income portfolio. I am thinking of selling our position in DRT and / or Exco Technology to generate funds. Do you agree with this move? Thanks, Lesley

Q: I hold the following equities among a wide variety of long-term positions. I have lots of patience, can wait while the cycle turns, and in no need of cash. I would appreciate your view on each of the following as to whether it is "dead money" for the near future and should be sold now. I will replace all sales by others. Aston Hill Trust units AV.UN; Mint Income Fund MID.UN; S.K.Telecom SKM(U.S.);
AG Junction AJ; Canadian Tire CTC.A; High Liner HLF; Inter Pipeline IPL; KP Tissue KPT; Street Capital Group SCB; Time Warner New TWX (U.S.); AT&T (U.S.). Thank you in advance for your wonderful service.

Q: Hello Peter & team, thank you for the improvements to your website. I really like to see the full company names rather than just the symbols. What would be the better choice between BIP.un or BEP.un for my RRSP? I am looking for safety and income. Regards, Gervais

Q: High Five!! to 5-I ... for some very welcome and useful changes to the new website. (In case I wasn't clear enough ... I love it.)

It doesn't take much to get used to the new style, and once you do, ... guaranteed, you'll never look back to the old ways.

Thanks for your exemplary service, old style ... and thanks for changing with the times.

Well done, 5 I!

Q: I`m not sure this is even fair question, so I`ll understand if you pass on it. I rode dividend stocks to nice profits a couple of years ago and think the time might be right for a strategy like this again. I would like to get something in the neighbourhood of at least 4% and preferably large enough that the downside is limited if I have to sell. I have $100K U.S. and about $400K Can. More than half of my retirement income comes from stack-market returns. Clearly I would to be diversified and would appreciate a number of suggestions.Thanks for the help

Q: Hi, iam doing quite well with Kinaxis, but the volatility seems a little out of my comfort zone, do u think a switch to New flyer Industries would make sense for less volatility, but similar capital appreciation over the next three to five years, disregarding the dividend, thanks

Q: Hi, My portfolio is starting to recover nicely. A few of my holdings are laggards though, and I'm wondering if this is a good time to top them up, or should I hold off? Are the prospects still good for these companies? If so, why aren't they participating in the recovery?

BOS, MG, EFN, MDA, CXR, IT

Q: I have $400k in cash that I plan to use over the next year to build a cottage. How do I invest that? Use term deposits maturing at 3,6,9 and 12 months? The interest rates are so low I'm wondering if there is a better way?

Q: Hi there, I recognize you do not advocate short term trading, but could you please provide some suggestions of stocks that are good day (or week) trading candidates that are high quality stocks that could be held for the longer term in case the short term trade does not work out well. Thanks.
