Q: Hi 5iR Team, With both KXS and SHOP you identified these stocks in their early stages, put them on your radar and finally incorporated them in your investor portfolios. They both have been blockbuster stocks and I feel fortunate to have them in my portfolio. Thank you 5iR.
We are all "seeking alpha" seeking potential stocks with upside velocity. Do you have another SHOP on your radar? A stock not yet in your portfolios but ready to be listed. A stock the team just feels, yes, these guys are in the right space, doing the right thing at the right time. We are buyers! I know Peter really likes GUD and I own some but..............Any and all thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks again for your superlative work...you set a high bar 5iR. Chris

Q: This is not a question per say but a large thank you to you and your staff...we have been investing since 2006 and have been members for 2 years or a little more ...we are invested fully in the balanced portfolio with some of the dividend portfolio (approximately half) and five from the growth portfolio...the education that you have provided through answering questions and email updates have done more for us than all of the other avenues we have taken during our investing time...we were thrown into it when we elected to take a c.v. from our pension plan and up to that time had not had anything to do with investing but were led to your company thru BNN and your appearances...so thank you again and keep up the good work you are changing peoples lives....gene

Q: I have held these equities in my well-diversified portfolio for many years; am a medium to long-term investor; not averse to risks; and do not need the cash. Which of these does it seem wise to dispose of and why? I intend to reinvest the proceeds in some of your recommendations. Thank you.

Q: Peter and His Wonder Team
I see that CDI is being bought out by AEI...a private company... for $8.25 per share. So please explain what this means for CDI. Will they keep there name and become an affiliate or just become AEI? I believe AEI is a private company...if so does that mean CDI will no longer be traded on the exchange? One last question...the board seems pleased with this merger...will CDI have any ability to move higher than $8.25 in the next year...time to sell or better hold for awhile? I am perplexed...
Thanks!

Q: I see freshii is at an all time low today. Do you happen to know what their projected growth is for new stores, cash flow, sales and eps? It seams to me they have a great opportunity to expand. I don't have much knowledge on Ipo's. Is there a period that those that got them aren't allowed to sell? If so when are people allowed to sell their freshii ipo shares? Since the price is below the Ipo price do you see this negatively affecting the price. Probably creating a buying opportunity in the near future?

Q: Hello Peter and Gang,

Would you please enlighten me on how prices are determined for stock trades. For example if I put in an order to buy a stock at a limit price of $1.00 (max that I would buy at). At the same time, someone puts in an order to sell the same stock at a limit price of $0.98 (minimum the seller would accept). Under this scenario, at what price would the trade be consummated? $1.00 or $0.98?

Also, if I put in an order to buy a stock at market price. Meanwhile for the same stock, one seller is asking $5.00, another one is asking $5.20 and yet another one is asking marking price. How would the "trade" price be determined in this case?

Thanks....

Q: Hi, can you rank the following companies as long term hold potential taking into account current valuations. I am looking to start positions in all companies I am just not sure which ones to start with.

Also, I feel like there is so much noise about moving away from oil that buying ENB long term can be a bad portfolio decision. Can you also comment on this. I am 30 and don't plan on selling anything any time soon.

Q: Own both these US stocks as well as Shopify. Would like to consolidate to just two stocks. Which one would you suggest saying bye bye! Not held any of them for long but willing to keep for 1-3 years. Thanks so much for your succinct and knowledgeable recommendations.

Q: Hi 5i
I hope you could clarify an issue for me. When a Canadian company, say Methanex, declares a dividend in ($ USD) but the holdings have been purchased on a Canadian Exchange, would you expect the dividend hitting one's account (which can and does hold multiple currencies) be in CDN or USD $ currency? Does the base currency of the exchange play a part in this and/or is it up to the brokers' discretion to apply a certain policy in these cases?

Thanks
