Q: PLEASE MAKE THIS A PUBLIC QUESTION

Hi Team, A while back you introduced the up-vote button on questions. Would you consider adding a down-vote button? Or give the option to members to hide or block questions from certain individuals? Thanks

Q: Good morning! After the dust settles will Propel, TeraVest and Nebius still be considered a solid investment for a 10 year hold? Would any of these be classified as a compounder and therefore a buy and forget type of investment? Where would they place on the risk scale with 10 being a high risk?
Thank you for your guidance in these times.
Dan

Q: Hi,

I am surprised that gold is not holding up in this meltdown. Is the market at the point of “sell anything” to raise cash/cover margins?

Thanks, Michael

Q: Hi bad day to be sure I see you suggest buying into some stocks but slowly.
What are the best sectors to buy first now that this black swan event is in play. Please give me you top 4 sectors in order of preference. Also you top 2 picks in each of the 4 also in order of preference as well please

What do you think is the worse case scenario as far as market drop % wise I release its just a guess but you guess is almost certainly better than mine at this point

Q: At one point it seemed like LSPD, DND, TIXT, REAL and WELL were market darlings with great potential, and DCBO, SHOP and ATZ were on more solid ground. Are any nearing the point of accumulation or should I start buying Spam for the apparent apocalypse?!!

Q: Hi - as the US has been a stronger market for the last couple of years, a large portion of my portfolio is USD. With the recent economic turmoil in the US and the resultant effect on their dollar, would you consider holding some ETF's in currencies such as the British Pound, Euro and Canadian dollar? My portfolio is heavily weighted in cash, as I hope to be able to wait on the sidelines till we see a buyable bottom, vs get whipsawed based on the latest idea from the 'Village Idiot'. As always, I welcome you thoughts!

Q: Retired, dividend-income investor, with mostly a blue chip, buy-and-hold-strategy and trims-adds when dictated by asset allocation.

Technology has been taking it on the chin, to say the least. My proxy for this sector is XIT. When the dust settles, I'd like to top up my tech sector by adding to XIT.

My 2 options are:
#1 = sell NTR in my RRSP and direct the proceeds to XIT.
#2 = trim NNRG in my TFSA and direct proceeds to XIT.

So, the question is....which do you think has more upside over the next period of time....NTR or XIT or NNRG? Please rank these 3 for upside.

My current thinking is to go with Option #1.

Thanks for your help....Steve

Q: I wonder about how the stop loss strategy fares in these market swings.

I always envied the fact that it protects the investor from down drafts and it cuts possible big losses.

So I wonder if a portfolio is exclusively structured in that way, does the majority of position gets sold off and the result is a sudden load of cash waiting to get back in the market.

What are your thoughts?

Thanks for your terrific expertise and support

Q: Hi Team,
With these uncertain times and some talk of cutbacks in data centre investment I was considering selling 50% of my Nvda investment and buying Csu and Srad with the proceeds. My timeframe is 10yrs or so. Would you consider this advisable or should I hold out and hope nvda gets its mojo back?

Thanks,
Shane
