Q: I note that HLPR is a total return ETF. How solid do you think it is for purchase in an unregistered account? I would like to shift some of my income in the unregistered account from interest to capital gains. Thanks!

Preferred shares are not risk free, but we think they can certainly form part of a diversified income allocation. We would consider the ETF fairly solid overall. Conditions are right (rates moving lower) for decent performance.
