Q: Good morning,

Could you please provide any insights on this new spinout- are the royalties based mostly copper or otherwise. Is it worth purchasing?

Thank you

5i Research Answer:

LUNR is off to a nice start to the year, up 29%. LunR holds a 1.00% NSR royalty on the Lunahuasi project in Argentina, a high-grade copper-gold-silver discovery with standout drill results like 51.1m at 13.84% CuEq and large-scale porphyry intervals up to 1,619m at 0.87% CuEq. It also owns a 1.38% NSR royalty on Los Helados in Chile, one of the world's largest undeveloped copper-gold porphyry deposits with 2,080Mt indicated resources at 0.40% CuEq containing 18.4Blbs copper. Both assets are in the emerging Vicuña District near operating mines like Caserones and advancing projects like Filo del Sol, recently acquired for $4.5B by BHP and Lundin Mining. Its royalties are not based primarily on copper alone. They cover polymetallic deposits where copper is the dominant metal, alongside significant gold and silver credits that boost overall economics. It of course has a fairly short history, but the sector is hot, it is well-managed and growth potential is good. We would be fine buying a starter position and then see how it executes on its growth plans.
