Q: Hi Peter,

I am trying to understand CSU's high P/E ratio which I see as 55-60P/E from one site to another. Please help me understand:
Q1 2018 = $8.50 EPS
Q2 2018 = $7.42 EPS
Q3 2018 = $8.95 EPS
Q4 2018 = $9.54 EPS (projected)
Total for the year = approximately $34.41. Current price is $912; therefore $912/34.41 = 26.5 P/E rather than the 55-60?

Q: RRSP vs TFSA vs non-registered accounts. Sector balancing aside, what would be your top 3 picks for each type of account? Incredible site, thanks for all your work.

Q: What is your pick presently for the best managed company for the best price? Or put another way...Is there a well managed company on sale right now? I do not care if you base your choice on future growth or present valuation or something else but I would not mind a brief reason for the choice. I would like to add to my TFSA holding with new money but I would like to hold this pick for a while. Thank you for all your help. J

Q: Good morning team,

Just a few quick questions regarding CSU's guidance for 3Q. Did they comment on it in June and if yes did they increase or decrease it? By how much? And what it the street consensus for 3Q quarter? Given its incredible unusual fall, would you be a buyer today or would you wait until their ER. I am trying to be cute and buy before the possible jump which I think should happen after they beat again.

Q: Hi, For several weeks, Constellation Software has been trading in a range $920 -$980.
Even on strong market days, stock is not bale to break out of this range. This is after stock touching a high of $1135 and later trading as low as $897 ( 20% swing). There has been no news. Do you think, the stock is expensive or any other reason of this lackluster performance ? Do you see share price back up in $1100 + range over next 12-18 months, if I need to trim my position ? Thanks

Q: Hi 5i team:
I am looking to add to my position in the tech sector and would like to ask you to rank the following stocks: ENGH, CSU, OTEX, GIB.A. I already own SHOP, KXS, DSG. Is it a good time to add to my portfolio? Are the opportunities better in the U. S.? Thanks,
Pierre

Q: Hi guys,
I hold one ETF and a mix of equities (selected from your portfolios) in my TFSA, with the following weightings:
COV 5.48
CSU 6.70
GSY 5.42
KXS 4.93
PBH 4.26
PHO 4.50
SHOP 7.57
SIS 6.59
TOY 6.05
TSGI 5.63
VUN 30.35
WEED 12.51
Everything is up from initial purchase (many thanks) but some have grown much faster than others. I am considering rebalancing and/or adding a new position. Is there a notable position that you would add/remove (e.g, VUN in exchange for equities)? I have VXC and VCN in my RRSP so maybe VUN is better located in there.
Thanks for the amazing service and knowledge base that 5i provides.

Q: Hi, TSGI has been very frustrating within a relatively short period. My TSGI position (down from 3% to 1.7% ,due to price decline) is sitting at a loss of about 40%. Over the past few weeks, nothing seems to have helped to stabilize the stock price. From $45 price level to present $30, what held us from liquidating our position was your supporting comments for this company in response to members' questions. As year end is slowly approaching, would it make sense to switch half the position to CSU ( I know, completely unrelated sector, simply from $$$ perspective), which is also down almost 30% from its high. This will help book some loss ( to offset year's capital gains) and reduce risk of more downside with TSGI in the near term, relative to the risk with CSU. Also, over 12/24 months time from, where do you see better prospects of a reasonable 30-40% bounce back ? Do you see TSGI price to recover a bit over next 2 months, before booking the loss for the year ? Or, this whole excercise is meaningless, in your view ? Thanks
