Q: Hi,
On September 4 in an answer to Ritwick's question, you said: "BCE did not cut its dividend in other times of crisis...".

I thought BCE cut its dividend by about half in 2008. It did raise the dividend again to previous trend levels in the subsequent year(s).

I vaguely recall at the time that the 2008 dividend cut was quite a dramatic move for a "widows and orphans' stock and of course no one could predict at the time the dividend would be reinstated the next year.

Q: I would like to set up a concentrated balanced portfolio of 6 Canadian value and 6 growth companies. I'm looking for the very best companies Canada has to offer, currently. I realize you have a balanced portfolio but I'm looking for the companies that are poised to do the best in the current ecomonic environment. As always, thanks for your much appreciated advice.

Q: Hi team,
In march, I asked if ATD was priced for perfection. ATD then reached a high around $85.
I wonder now about my DOL shares. I wanted to sell in the last months, but did not, because the stock keeps going up. With a PE of 37, and a high around $137, I fear that any problem with China would affect their supply. Do you know if DOL go thru third party’s warehouses or have their own China contacts? Do you have any data on the percentage of their business from Chinese items- should be quite high?
Covid did not stop them, so should we be worried?

Q: what are your views on the future natural gas supply/demand dynamics for North America. Increased electrical usage due to record heat this summer does not appear to affect gas supply.

Q: Hi. I watch various Youtube videos on investing, usually hosted by different people. I often notice that these individuals present various graphs showing change in EPS over many years or change in cash flow or change in revenue or change in <etc>… Do you know of different graphing tools that may be providing this data? Most graphing tools I see usually show change in stock price, dividends, volume, … The ability to see all the different fundamental data over time looks enticing. Thanks.

Q: 5i Research has been always positive about BCE and its high yield as manageable and the Management is doing a good job through challenging times. BCE bonds last week were rated at just 2 notches above junk by Moody & S&P Globe ratings. I am wandering if you can justify your optimism in this light of downgrading. If so please provide reason for your optimism.
