Q: I have some money in the Steadyhand Small Cap Fund, which recently changed managers, now Joe Sirdevan from Galibier. Do you know him and his track record at Jarislowsky, where he was previously? Would you recommend him as a money manager?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Q: Do you know of an etf that invest European banks or global banks ex-us
Q: Grande West Transportation is down about 10 per cent today. I can't find any news on it. Have you any idea why? Can you tell me the short position for this. Thanks
Q: Thanks for the webinar today. It's reminded me to think about fundamentals. Normally I rely on you think about that for me (I follow BE), but not always. I hung on to Amaya after you removed if from the portfolio and bought a bit more at ~19.50 when the original bid came and you did a great blog about two "trades" (the other being SPB--it was a nailbiter but I did well on that one).
There's a lot of noise on this company and I want to ignore that. What is your view about fundamentals and outlook for AYA? If you think there are better opportunities right now, could you please give me some suggestions? Doesn't need to be the same sector. I want to avoid the pitfall of hanging on too long if this is not a very promising company long term.
Thanks.

Q: I own both NYX and IT. I am up a little on IT and down a little on NYX. Which of these company's do you think is better to hold onto? Should I sell IT and buy more NYX to take advantage of the cheap share price? Or should I continue to hold both?
Thanks
Thanks

Q: Large-cap healthcare ETFs are giving-up their post-election bump, in some cases (for example, HHL) approaching nine-month lows. Are there any that are becoming interesting, or is this sector just too instrinsically volatile? In the past, 5i has spoken well of IHI (NYSE), do you still like it?
Q: maybe you can comment on nyx.

Q: Hi Peter and Team,

Q: Hi 5i: As part of my RIF portfolio I hold three ETFs, namely one S&P (45%), one TSX (35%) and one for developed ex North America (20%). Do those percentages seem reasonable to you? I also have a chunk of the portfolio reserved for fixed (safe) income, so I'm not worried about safety, just efficiency.
Q: Can you give me your opinion on this stock
Q: Do you forecast continued price appreciation in the shares of this bank ? I bought a couple of months ago at just over $26 and am now up 19%. Time to sell or hang on for the ride ?? This stock seems to be not well followed outside Western Canada and few analysts are aware of how well secured this bank's loans are, despite its western exposure. For example, from 2009 to 2014 the stock price of CWB outperformed Royal Bank. It only declined dramatically after the decline in oil prices, which now seems to have bottomed. Maybe it is time to buy more ?
Q: From the balanced portfolio, which 5 stocks would you purchase at today's price and what size of position, 1/4, 1/2 or more?
Thanks
Thanks

Q: I used to own XTC and left in disappointment - bought at around and sold at $14.70 and sold at about $15.00. In between I wasted a lot of time waiting and finally left with much gain.
XTC has really fallen on hard times of late and I just want to know if it's a good bottom fishing candidate, or there is no rush to re-enter this sector yet? MG and others are still recovering and I assume it would take XTC (a much small company) to regain its traction.
One positive thing is they did raised their dividend in the past years. Is that dividend sustainable, or it was raised in a vain effort to boost share price?
Thanks.
