Q: Hi, can you rank the following companies as long term hold potential taking into account current valuations. I am looking to start positions in all companies I am just not sure which ones to start with.

Also, I feel like there is so much noise about moving away from oil that buying ENB long term can be a bad portfolio decision. Can you also comment on this. I am 30 and don't plan on selling anything any time soon.

Q: Own both these US stocks as well as Shopify. Would like to consolidate to just two stocks. Which one would you suggest saying bye bye! Not held any of them for long but willing to keep for 1-3 years. Thanks so much for your succinct and knowledgeable recommendations.

Q: Hi 5i
I hope you could clarify an issue for me. When a Canadian company, say Methanex, declares a dividend in ($ USD) but the holdings have been purchased on a Canadian Exchange, would you expect the dividend hitting one's account (which can and does hold multiple currencies) be in CDN or USD $ currency? Does the base currency of the exchange play a part in this and/or is it up to the brokers' discretion to apply a certain policy in these cases?

Q: I am considering the following: selling Royal Bank, BCE and CGI which are in my TFSA plan and then repurchase them in my RRSP plan and at the same time, sell my Amazon and Google which are in my RRSP and repurchase them in my TFSA. The basic reason is having the growth stocks in the TFSA. Does this make sense or are there any consequences?

Q: your thought on DR:
- is it worth buying at $13.00
- is the divined reasonable covered
- are there major problems in the company and/or business to explain the steep share price drop
- should I sell the small position and move on even if I would stay for the divined and hope for better days
