Q: I hold a 3.55% position in COIN which has a nice gain so far. Recently I started a position in GLXY which has a weight of less than 1% and now trading at a loss. Is it a good idea to continue holding both? Should I persist with GLXY or go ahead with some tax loss selling.

Q: In your answer to Paul F’s question it sounds like GLXY has many parts. If so, is their future success likely to be constrained due to being “ jack of all trades, master of none”? Or are they strong enough in all the areas you mentioned to provide the leverage to be a likely BIG player in the near and long term?

Q: Hello 5i,

We are perplexed on which payment stocks to purchase. FOUR seems to be somewhat of a disappointment so far, though many have fallen from grace this year and a path to digital payments through crypto looks promising though we are not sure how this will shake out.

Can you comment on the best way to capitalize on stocks in this sector and rank the top 3 payment stocks (in order please) to hold for 5 years or longer.

Q: I see Galaxy is down after hours on news of some sort of a share offering. Can you comment please? I’m guessing that this is not an issue - growth companies need to raise money to gown. Q: With major banks like JPMorgan now planning to offer crypto-collateralized loans and expand into digital-asset services, I’m wondering how this might affect Galaxy Digital’s competitive moat. Could the entry of large, well-capitalized banks put pressure on Galaxy’s market share or margins, especially in institutional lending and trading? At the same time, what advantages does Galaxy still hold that could help it maintain its position as a leading “crypto bank”? Q: Hi 5i,
I know galaxy in the growth portfolio has done very well. Does the roughly 7 % weighting reflect the weight after the "sale" of shares?
Also, can you confirm that there is a lock up ending around November 26 th, and what kind of a movement could that have on the shares? i.e. how many shares MAY come to market after that date? Are there any other lock up date expirations in 2025?
At this stage in the market, how would you compare the potential growth prospects of x and glxy? which has more of a moat?

Q: Hello
Just looking at the financials for GLXY and wondering why the stock has risen. Sales are zero, other income is 135M, EBITA has never been positive, net income way down from last year, OPS way down from last year, Operating cash flow is negative, negative free cash flow forever so why is the stock going up the way it has?
PE is 250, operating margins are negative.

Am I missing something here?
