Q: Hi gang...All the headers with the stock name and symbol are missing from your Q and A's. They just disappeared. Is it just my computer? Or is there a problem.
thank you
Q: The question and answer section today do not show the company name pertaining to the question, This is very confusing and make me loose interest in continuing reading this section.

Q: Why doesn't the company suspend the dividend and divert the money to debt. It can be reinstated later when it is more viable. Most investors would not miss it. If you own ten thousand shares you only get one hundred dollars a month dividend. I would gladly give it up if it went directly to debt. It seems pragmatic.
Q: Can you please comment on this company's recently announced earnings. Your overall thoughts on the company would be appreciated and do you see it as a buy. Thank You.
Q: Hi 5i team
As a long-time BNS shareholder, I am disappointed to learn of the US$127 million settlement with the U.S. Department of Justice regarding manipulation in metal markets. As part of this, the bank admitted they (this surely involved senior management) made false statements (nice way of saying 'lied') to U.S. authorities in 2018 as part of a small settlement on the same matter. The bank stated "At Scotiabank, we understand that in order to maintain the trust of our stakeholders, we must adhere to trading-related regulatory requirements and compliance policies. We are committed to adhering to these standards."
How wonderful of BNS to say this (please forgive the sarcasm).
My questions are: What actions do you know of that BNS took to fire the people involved for cause, with no severance, AND to cancel stock options the perpetrators would have enjoyed, to send a crystal clear signal to every BNS employee that these sorts of actions will not in future be tolerated?
And finally, what is your view of BNS shares today?
Thank you.
Edward
Q: I would like your thoughts on the above. It has an attractive dividend and appears to have some price momentum and am wondering if this might present an opportunity to earn an attractive dividend. Welcome your thoughts
Q: Closed ended funds have a sometimes-deservedly mixed reputation. The Templeton Dragon fund's Far East coverage seems to offer that relatively rare (for me, at least) combination of excellent return and low correlation to other holdings in my portfolio. Can you comment on its value to a predominantly North American portfolio?
Q: When I graph the performance of these four gold miners over a period of three months, six months or year to date, KNT and FVI appear to have performed best. Can I trust Mr Market here? I hold shares in each of these two companies. Should I add to these positions or sell them in preference to MMX and WDO?
If you do not trust what the market seems to be telling me here please explain why.
