I hear about Bitcoin, Dogecoin and all sorts of other coins and names. The complication of understanding them kept me on the sidelines, not to mention the wild daily fluctuations. I was wondering if an easier way to get some exposure to Bitcoin, directly or indirectly, would be to buy some shares in Square?

Q: Good morning,

I am considering increasing my international exposure as per portfolio analytics and am stumped between ZDI and PID. Both hold a lot of the same investments. In fact 31 of the ZDI stocks are the same as PID holdings are the same, although not in equal proportion (roughly 44% ZDI to 34% PID - mostly due to fact that the PID strategy is close to equal weight investments). My current positions in both funds are 5% and 3.75%. I am looking at increasing either or combining. I also have a 4.75 % position in QEF which I feel is sufficient since I am not yet convinces ESG is the way to go.

Can I have your thoughts on PID vs ZDI ? Thank you for your valuable input.

Q: Can you comment on QUIS earnings released Tuesday after the close. Do you feel their potential is as good as their projections? Would you complete a position or wait for more concrete results?

Q: Friday messy fun question, please take it lightly. I would like to start reducing the oil companies I bought in April last year. They've done incredibly well, but now I would like to increase my tech growth stocks by opening 1 or 2 new positions. I currently own GOOG, DND, U, CRWD, RDFN, ROKU, VEEV, PINS, and SQ. They have done well under your recommendations even with the recent pullbacks. As no one can time the markets, I am not willing to wait for a surprise interest hike as it is part of a locked-in RSP. It would be a 10+ hold. 1) Without considering size, could you please rank your favourite top 5 companies addressed in this question as of today in terms of strong balance sheet & steady growth potential over time (even in an interest hike environment). 2) Could you please give a brief explanation for the #1 pick only. Q: Do you think that CTS might be a little over its skis? Maybe a good idea to take some off the table before it drops again? An analyst on BNN recently suggested a price target of 7.75. Today its at 8.

I am wondering how ETFs collect their fees. For example, I am attracted by PDC's dividend of $4.27%, but it has a relatively high MER of 0.56%. Should I deduct the MER from the dividend to get a more realistic value of the return I can expect from PDC?
