Q: This is a question about sector etfs in general and xli specifically. Are the spdr etfs a good way of achieving proper asset mix .Is there a canadian equivalent which is as good? Is Xli specifically a good way of increasing the industrial portion of the portfolio?
Q: There has been a few upgrades on this stock lately. With a huge dividend, it appears to be gaining some momentum and might be a place to build a small position. Could I have your thoughts please? Also, what is the difference between this and the Greys (MHIVF)? I thought I was buying some IVQ.U on the TSX with US Dollars but ended up with MHIVF.

In assessing companies you mention ROA, ROE and ROC. Aside from these would it be beneficial to compare ROC (sic. ROIC) with WACC? If WACC is more than ROIC and the company is shedding unprofitable assets, then would there be a case for still seeing that company in a favourable light?
