Q: Hi 5i,

I currently own the above noted renewable energy utilities. I am thinking of selling AQN. If I did so, (and I would like to keep it in renewables) would you recommend putting the proceeds towards one of the above or something like NPI or possibly a renewable energy ETF. Could you recommend 1 to 3 ETFs?

Q: Hi

Thinking of selling ICLN I am down 21% and replacing it with VDE.

Why!! I think the clean air flavor of the month is dead for a while and want the ride oil shortage.

Also METV still not show the intraday price on my Portfolio Analysis.

Q: I was wondering if this ETF would be a good way to play the renewable energy space? Good dividend, international and spreads out the risk of just owning individual renewable stocks.

Q: Hi 5i Team. The dialog and information related to form T1135 from earlier today was very helpful. To further the discussion let me ask the following; would the following ETF's (below) be considered a foreign assets under the CRA and need to be reported with Part B of the T1135? Thinking about selling emera, which I will have high capital gains on and buying a renewable energy stock. I already own a full compliment of icln and wondering whether I should buy another renewable? If so, which one? I am selling emera because I suspect the government may impose higher capital gains taxes soon. And also because I think there will be more growth, with of course stability, with renewables. I thought I would pass this idea through your radar to see whether you see it as a worthy idea
