Invesco Optimum Yield Diversified Commodity (PDBC $14.26)
Q: Is PDBC a good hedge against inflation and would you recommend it ? What is the dividend with PCBC ? The information on my TD acct. and your website are very different. Are there eff's that provide the same commodity exposure that pay monthly or quarterly dividends that you would endorse. Thanks for your help.

Q: Can you recommend a few ETFs that have good exposure to US industrials and materials? Preferably in a single security if there is one, but separately is fine as well. I'm indifferent as to whether it is a CDN ETF listed in Canada or USD ETF listed on a US exchange.

Q: My wife and I are in our mid-late 70's and only have investments in RRIFs.
We don't have any stocks in the materials sector and I would like to add something that has either solid growth potential or pays a dividend to add a bit more balance. I once invested in gold (BTO) and didn't do well, so I'm not particularly interested in that unless it meets the criteria above.
I am, however open to all suggestions. I have 6% space to allocate to your recommendations, so please advise accordingly.

Q: Hi Peter, Ryan, and Team,
Portfolio Analytics indicates that we're overexposed to the Consumer Cyclical Sector. Please rank the above three stocks from "sell some shares first" to "sell some shares last" so that we can free up some cash to put in the Materials sector, which is presently underrepresented. What are your favourites in the Materials sector? (Either stocks or ETFs in Canada or the US.) Thanks as always.

Q: What do you think of these two ETFs and which do you prefer for a long term hold? Can you recommend one or two CDN materials/metals ETFs?
Can you recommend one or two US or world material/metals etfs?

Q: Whats the TSX listed equivalent of XLB (US) for broad material exposure ? Thanks.
Q: What is a tsx listed equivilent ? Thanks.
Q: If now is a good time to begin putting 12% cash to work increasing our USA div. income to balance our RRIF withdrawals for a mid 70s couple what stocks or etfs would you recommend. We currently own VZ@ 1%, QCO M@1% VGG 1% and VUN 3% to top up.
According to your portfolio analysis we need more US communication, US industrial, and US basic materials. Is it better to have div. income from Canada than US in our RRIF plans?
Would also like to switch our 3.5% position of IYT to div. position.
Take as many question as needed. Thanks

Q: Good morning 5i,
I currently have no basic materials in portfolio having sold MX to crystallize a tax loss. Analytics suggests 4%. We are currently trying to become less aggressive because of stage in life. Thinking 2% XGD (comments please) and open to suggestions for another candidate. Thanks for your help. Ted

Thank you Team!

Q: I am looking for an ETF with a high percentage of sand and gravel [aggregate] companies. I don't think there is a specific ETF for aggregate companies but there are ETF's which include them. Could you also recommend the best aggregate company in the world?
Thank you.
Ross.

Q: Good Afternoon: I am thinking of increasing my exposure to the materials sector (principally North America but am open to international) and would like to do so through an etf. I already have an approx. 7% exposure to energy (mostly Cdn.) and less than 1% each to gold and materials. Would you please recommend an etf that you believe to be a good option for me here. Thanks.
