Q: Hi Peter and Team,
What is your take on Barry Critchley's article in today's National Post?
http://business.financialpost.com/investing/investing-pro/reit-investors-face-new-risk-as-ceos-age-raising-succession-questions
In this article, he discusses the problems that REITs may have going forward due to the 'advancing age' of some REIT founders with no apparent successors in place, thus increasing the possibility of a strategic change in direction for the REIT, or an outright sale.
Do you view this as a problem? What REITs in your view are most vulnerable if in fact there is credibility to the article?
Thanks as always for the timely and pertinent advice.
