Q: Hi 5i....I've had this company on my watch list since about a year ago. It had negative momentum at the time and last answered company question was in 2017. At the time you suggested TFII which has also done well.
I see it has picked up on the momentum side in the last 6 months but I don't really see any news to account for this. Is it's performance simply just tied to the economy (e-commerce or transport sector?) and thus the appreciation? It has made several acquisitions over the last few years so perhaps has better pricing power now.
Any update on your opinion or still to small vs other trucking companies?
Is TFII still your favourite CDN in this sector?

Thanks for all you do!!!!
Steve

Q: I recently purchased these interest sensitive stocks with the idea of obtaining good dividend paying companies at a reasonable valuation. Each are a 3% weighting. Too much in this sector? If rates continue to rise, can these companies pass on any increase? Are these companies OK if there is a gradual increase in interest rates or should the sector be avoided?

Thanks
Dave.

Q: I have a friend, retired as I am, who's entire LIF is invested in one mutual fund with RBC. The fund code is RBF461with an MER of 1.84%. From the research that I have done, this fund is rated as low risk with below average returns. When I look at a chart history of this fund, it does not even achieve the category average over the last 5 years at least. I own MAW104 or105 in this category but these would be unavailable to my friend as RBC does not offer Mawer funds for sale. Could you suggest any alternative mutual funds, ETF's or any other low risk strategy you demm appropriate. Thank you for your service.

Q: I have invested 14% ($107k) of my total portfolio in the Outcome Oriented Model: Enhanced Equity Income ETF Portfolio. Do you see any changes that need to be made with the portfolio holdings? I have an additional $20k to invest, would MFT be a good addition or just add to the existing holdings? I am 70 years old and my goal is to augment my retirement pensions.
Thanks for the great service.

Q: Hi Peter, Ryan, and Team,

I manage my daughter-in-laws small portfolio, and the sector balances are now out of whack due to her recent cashing out of her TFSA for a major purchase.

She now has almost zero in the Technology sector. After I reallocate some funds from over-exposed sectors in her LIRA and RRSP, I'd appreciate knowing what Technology stock(s) you'd recommend at this time that provide a measure of safety and growth (preferably from the stocks covered by 5i. Thanks as always for your valued insight.
