Q: Shopify has grown to be 12% of my portfolio ( thanks to 5i ) and as a result I need to sell some shares. I was wondering what companies you would recommend as a replacement . Would also appreciate your comments on MDF Mediagrif and TCS Tecsys.

Q: Hi,
I hope everyone is well. I have a friend who has inherited 500K in USD$. She needs to convert this money into canadian dollars. ( She has no experience with investing or an FA) What is the most cost efficient way for her to transfer this sizeable amount money into Canadian currency? Any suggestions from other members are also welcome. Thank you everyone.

Q: Hi Everyone at 5i! The market has surely been a rollercoaster ride over the last few months. I have 40K US to deploy and am looking for a solid growth stock or two with a good moat. Q: Hi 5i,

Gold seems to be doing well in these uncertain times, as it has been touted to be, a safe haven. I have read many of the Q&A database but I am not sure if the following has been asked. Few Gold companies provide dividends but I am attracted to those that do, as dividends provide confidence on the company. FNV is one.

Do you think that in the current environment (rising Gold prices, uncertainty, increased demand) that those dividend producing Gold companies might increase their dividends ? If so, do you have one or two that might be the most likely to do so ? (Or, ... one or two that might initiate a dividend - please subtract 2 questions).

Q: Hi,
Looking at last month’s balanced portfolio report I cannot see the calendar returns of the TSX composite. Can you please show comparison of balanced portfolio compared to it’s benchmark like etf XIC would be great.
