Q: My portfolio is in need of US and global exposure. Currently I only own two US stocks FB(3%) and BAC (2.8%) I also own VEE(2.4%). Can you recommend how I can add to my US and Global exposure. Also what percentage of a portfolio would you make them? I'm 38 and a rather aggressive investor.

Q: I know you are high on this co.,and i agree it is maybe cheap, but it is now off close to 30% of it's high and sinking fast to where it was 3 years ago, i know it is still up for the year, but what is it that the market does not like about this stock?. I find that many low p/e stocks are not the stocks that you want to hold,they are cheap for some reason.

Q: I am a long term holder of GE, and ALA. Even-though the market has been good these stocks continue to go down.
In your opinion, should they be kept or should I take some of the gain before it dwindles away.

Q: Greetings 5i,
I currently hold half positions in both BCE and RCI.B (BCE for stability and RCI.B for growth). I am a fairly conservative investor, and like the telecom sector for its ability (at least in my opinion) to be somewhat defensive in more volatile markets.

In your opinion, is it worth it to hold both of these companies, or would you recommend a single holding at a full position? If the latter, which would you recommend I keep?

Q: Greetings, guys.

First few lines from Scotia's new nvu.un report:

"PSP Investment Board, one of NVU's largest unitholders (owned ~9% of NVU) has agreed to sell ~4.92M units via a secondary offering (designated trade) at $22.85/un for gross proceeds of ~$112.5M, equating to a 3.7% discount to yesterday's
closing price".

Q: Buy the dip. I hear this all the time. I understand and accept the concept of buying a stock which is down temporarily. But as a conservative investor, I look at the long lists of stocks on my watch lists and in a sea of red, my eyes are drawn to the green, to the stocks which keep chugging forward even on a day when the markets are way down. Unless there is some immediate news driving that stock, my inclination is to think "This is a stock with strong demand, and whose owners don't want to sell. I should buy that, not the ones which are dropping like rocks." What do you think?

Q: A graph comparing ENF and ENB ( TMXmoney.com) shows that they have tracked
each other very closely for every time period for the last ten years.Is there really any advantage in owning one over the other? Joe
