Q: I own some Shell and BP shares. I heard that Shell is planning to unload a lot of its Russian assets and may take a massive accounting hit. BP also has a lot of Russian interests. Should I be thinking of selling Shell and BP, given these risks? I was thinking of holding on to them for the longer term, but all this Russian uncertainty has given me second thoughts. Can you comment?

Not investment advice or solicitation to buy/sell securities. Do your own due diligence and/or consult an advisor.
Q: Can you please comment on earnings. Was there anything that stood out in the conference call (either good or bad). Portfolio Analytics notes I should increase my exposure to consumer defensive and US holdings. Would you recommend starting a position in COST within an RRSP? Lastly, from an educational stand point, what metrics/factors (financial and non-financial) are good to look at when exploring/assessing a business such as Costco.
Q: Why is gsy being punished so badly today?
Q: Good day, 5i. Can you see a reason for the sudden decline in share price for Sleep Country? It's earning seemed fine, and the stock went up on news. I think they are buying back shares. Thanks for your insight.

Q: I am a retired investor and rely upon the dividends in my RRIF for income. I have owned FSZ for many years and while it pays a nice dividend (8%) it has not grown, in fact its down since I purchased it. I want to replace it.
The listed stocks pay dividends ranging from 3.9% to 5.1%. My question is which of the stocks would make a good replacement with the dividend and growth profile that will exceed the dividend of FSZ. Please list with the best first and also indicate if the risk is higher or lower than FSZ.
I have been a member for a few years now and would like to congratulate you on your service and unbiased answers. It definitely has been financially rewarding for me.

Q: Please comment on the allscripts conference call.
Q: How would you rank these 1) for overall growth prospects over the next few years, and 2) for leverage to silver prices?
Q: Your thoughts on the quarter? What is the forward P/E?
Q: I held NUVEI in my TFSA account which is representing 10% holding. I am worrying it will crush on earning as many growth names are getting punished with even a slightly missing or weaken guideline. Would you agree to sell a portion before the earning date?
Thank you,
Thank you,
Q: On Jan 7 James asked your opinion on good/ great/ table pounding prices for these three companies. So much has happened since then. What is your opinion today?
Q: Hi Team,
I have been watching TOI closely. Recently (today for example most my tech are down 5-8% range). Yet TOI is up 3% as of writing this. It seems to have great support around the $85 level. Do you think that the bottom may be close to in for TOI, or is it just bouncing around until the next leg down do you figure? I know this is only your best guess, but value your opinion. I guess what I am looking for is..is it time to add to this name? Also...could you throw in some best conviction names either Cnd or US that you think are stupidly oversold right now that you think would be great buys for a 5yr plus hold? Thanks!
Shane.

Q: Would you have a proxy for BYD (to claim a tax loss) which has dropped just as much and would rebound once the market improves, within the industrial sector?
Thanks for your service

Q: I know the environment is iffy, but with tech on sale, and other tech (also on sale) flush cash, when do the bigger fish start gobbling up the smaller fish, and what, in your opinion, is holding them back? Thank-you.

Q: Two years ago, energy fund managers were pounding the table to buy oil and gas stocks.
Whoever listened did great.
Now tech prices continue to plummet. The prices are off 60-80%.
Should I pick a few and wait two years for a similar upsurge?
Would you buy shop, lspd, dcbo, toi, nvei or nvda and please rank them with a brief overview.
Thank you.

Q: Hi 5i team
I'm looking to add 1 stock to my TFSA. I'm considering Kinaxis or Descarte. Which would you add. Also curious as a good price entry point for both.
I am also considering adding Booking Holdings to my RRSP. What are your thoughts and also would appreciate a good price entry point.
Thanks Peter,Ryan and team for your valuable guidance.

Q: How exposed are BRP and Magna to Russia? Any other companies significantly impacted? Which companies look like attractive entry price at this time.. would you wait or add if already held? Thanks.

Q: I'm looking for some Canadian companies that can benefit from the current oil shortage in the world. My research has turned up CJ, ERF, MEG, and NVA. Would you please rank them best to worst in terms of potental upside. As you can see, I'm looking for good growth going forward. If you can think of other possiblilties I would appreciate your choices. Also, do you see any major flaws with the companies I've indicated I would appreciate your opinions.
Q: Have been looking at FTS to compliment a retirement portfolio (have BEP). I hesitate as I am not sure if Fortis is moving or moving quickly in the right direction into renewables...is it? I know some Municipalities are restricting gas installations in new builds. I know 5i recommends Fortis, what about it for the long haul?
Q: Hi Everyone at 5i!! I purchased nutrien in the past around the 47$ range . Considering where it is at now in price and the unfortunate world affairs, does it still have a significant up potential? Cheers, Tamara
