Q: If one wanted to invest in copper, what would i5R recommend, both individual companies & ETFs. Please give a brief financial explanation for each recommendations. Thanks. … Cal
Q: Who should i focus on for copper. Manageable debt to survive any economic down turn, mining in stable political countries, low cost production, reasonable life of current mine(s) for future supply. Trading on the Canadian exchanges With EV etc I expect supply of copper will be another metal that will be in short supply but will have its ups and downs in the short term.
Q: Can you please give us your recommendations on Nickle, Cooper and Platinum stocks and ETF for both Markets.
I heard above will be key in EV and green energy. Supply will be low so prices will go up. What are your thoughts.
Can you also provide your recommendations on Mining, Chemical Processing, Battery Component Production and Battery Cell Production stocks and ETF in both Markets.
Thanks for the great service you have been providing to small investors at reasonable price.
Q: How do you think SU will do in the next couple years and what would be your top 5 favorite energy plays in the Canadian Market? Also, with China reopening, US dollar on a downtrend and noticing several major Metal/Copper stocks gapping up like FCX and VALE, SCCO, how would you rank these and what are your top 5 companies domestic or international to take adv of rising commoditiy/metal prices
Q: I'm thinking of taking some positions in base metals companies. I'm especially interested in copper plays as it seems to be needed to support the drive to electrification. Do you think this is and opportune time to initate positions? In any case, I would appreciate it if you would share some of your favorite companies in this sector and it would help if you would present them in order of most upside to least going forward. I'm open to metals. other than copper as well.
Q: As a CMMC shareholder I am interested in your comments on the takeover by HBM. I am down on CMMC but it was my only copper investment and I was holding for a copper recovery. Do you think it best to stick with HBM or sell and buy another copper stock such as Capstone?
Q: A number of precious metals companies have exposure to copper as well. Which ones in your opinion (large cap, mid-cap & small cap) are best positioned to benefit from a rise in copper demand?
Could you please offer your opinion on companies like Teck, Rio Tinto , Freeport McMoran or others who may be best positioned to profit from increasing copper demand ?
Q: If I look at STC I see that the 52 week high is $20.36 and also that from looking at analyst ratings via TD I notice that 3 out of 3 rate it a buy with a price target of $16.17. When I see something like that it gives me a warm fuzzy that this is a good buy at this level and appears to have a lot of upside. I fully realize that there is no guarantee that just because it went that high in the past it does not mean that it will go back to that level. Having said that, it appears to have a lot of potential as I see it. You also seem to like this one.
Just to make a comparison (I know it is a different sector but that does not matter) let’s have a look at CS. This is one that 5I appears to like as well and that I am considering buying. TD has this one showing as 6 out of 6 analysts rating a it a buy but the price target is $5.83 (-3.01% downside).
Why would the price target on this one be so low and how much potential does this have in your opinion?
