Q: Hi. I'm currently over weight in Consumer Defensives (BYD, PBH & PRWM) and under weight in Industrials (WSP, TFII, STN & SIS).
I'm thinking of selling PRMW and buying EIF. Based on future prospects do you think this trade makes sense. I intend to hold for a few years. Thanks!

Q: How do you see the real estate sector performing over the next 12-18 months? In an otherwise balanced portfolio, I currently have no real estate holdings. Would you suggest I add here and - if yes - would you opt for RIT or DIR.UN? It would be a 3% total weighting. Alternatively, I could purchase either OTEX, EIF or PRMW. Looking for a combination of growth with a fair-sized dividend and moderate risk. What would recommend - and in what order (strongest first)? Thank you.

Q: I am trying to high-grade my portfolio to reduce the number of holdings down to about 25. I own this company in a registered account and while I am up on it, I wonder about its future growth. A while ago, you dropped PRMW as you felt there were better opportunities elsewhere. Do you still hold this opinion? Would you expect your answer to change depending on their quarterly report next week? Finally, what category do you place the company in as there seems to be some discrepancy between your last report (Con Discretionary) and the Industry database (defensive)?

Appreciate your insight.

Q: Just to clarify, 5i is selling all of ANRG and PRMW and LSPD from the portfolios.

ANRG and LSPD are at all time lows. So you're selling at the lows.

Prmw is bullish and moving higher and is near its high and you're selling that as well.

What happened to run with the winners and sell the losers (not at their low)?

Q: Could I have your thoughts on JWEL please? Do expansion opportunities into the US (purchase of Nutrawise) change your previous coolness on the stock at all?

Are there other stocks in the sector you prefer?

Q: Greetings, I already own PBH, ATB and COST but would like to add a consumer non-cyc. In order, I would like to protect against loss of capital, receive a greater than 2% dividend, and enjoy some reasonable growth. Which of the two above would you choose for a long term hold? If you could choose a U.S. name, is there one you prefer over both? Thank-you!

Q: Hello everyone.

If your goal was to pick 3 companies that had the highest percentage chance of growing their eps by close to 10% and their dividend by 5% for the next 2 to 3 years, which companies would you select, today?

Thanks.

Q: Hi 5i,

If one was predisposed to achieve a higher yield for an income portfolio, what would you replace WSP, PRMW and PLC with? Or does this defeat the purpose of balance and keeping some growth?
