Q: Looking at Dream Industrial REIT, I see that the P/E ratio is about 36, which I interpret as expensive, while the P/B ratio is about 0.8, which I would consider a bargain. Which is it? What am I missing?

Q: I am just starting to do the Smith Maneuver. I am planning on "deploying" about $200k to start and then CDA monthly and then, if and when there is a market drop, buy more.
My time horizon is at least 10 years but maybe more, if all works out.
Please recommend stocks and/or etf's; both Cdn and US.

Q: May I have your comparative analysis of risk/benefit of having your assets in a bank, caisse populaire (Québec) vs fintech (like Wealthsimple)? A friend in corporate legal domain was suspicious of the soundness of fintech vs banks in Canada. She was refering to the 2008 financial crisis and implied that fintechs would be a liability for investors. What do you think?

Q: Stack capital has about 28% of its portfolio in pre ipo space x .
I assume the book value of stck is mark to market . As such without knowing its cost basis for its shares how can one determine the change in book values once the ipo happens. I expect a very heavy uptake of the ipo shares
