Q: Hello,
I would value your assessment of MIC's recent earnings announcement as well as your commentary on what their indication that they are going to: "to actively pursue strategic alternatives including a sale of the Company or its operating businesses as a means of unlocking value for shareholders." might mean for those of us who hold this investment?
The market's initial reaction was extremely positive but having been down the "strategic alternatives" path previously with Calidus Capital, to a disastrous conclusion, makes me personally rather circumspect. Thank you!

Q: Why are U.S. banks moving so much higher with interest rates and their spread so low? Do investors believe they are at a bottom? Have JP Morgan and that has performed beautifully. What do you think between Citicorp and Bank of America?
Q: With the social unrest in many South American countries, do you expect BNS to be adversely impacted in view of its significant presence in the region? If so, would you suggest switching to a different bank such as TD? Thank you for your insights.
Q: What is you opinion on this stock as an alternative to VISA or Mastercard.

Q: Has your opinion/outlook of this company changed since June?
Q: You recently responded to a question on ZWC, and suggested that you also liked XTR for income.
What specifically do you like about XTR, and what happened to the share price in 2016 ?

Q: Hello
I read MA is to acquire tech firm for an undisclosed sum. Since then, the stock has been dipping down .
Would you see this acquisition a plus to the company and would you recommend buying some stock here?
MX - stock is down drastically since Dec2018 and did not recover yet.
The company stated they reached an 5 year agreement with ENAP for natural gas supply to its Chile operations.
What is your outlook on the company in general and do you see the stock recover soon ?
Thank you

Q: Dear 5I Team:
I hold Visa for wonderful gains of 80%. Lately it's seems to be going sideways a for a bit. I've tried to follow your advice about not selling on momentum and holding for 5 years at least. Does this apply to Visa at them moment. Been fascinated to see how many of my Asian colleagues now using Visa in Thailand, Japan etc whereas 5 years ago, it was only cash when they made purchases. Thx for your advice. Lorraine

Q: Both of these stocks have dropped significantly today. Do you have any insight? A buying opportunity? Thank You.
Q: For my fixed income side of my portfolio I've just been keeping cash in a high interest savings account (Achieva Financial in Manitoba). It pays 2.3% interest. I just checked the yield to maturity of BND the US Vanguard bond ETF and it's 2.3%. The YTM for ZAG the Canadian BMO bond ETF is 2.2%. Hardly seems worth paying an MER and risking price fluctuations. What do you think, am I missing something here?
