Q: What's your view on Peller's earnings? I've been holding a long-term small core position and am thinking of doubling it based on what I thought was a decent looking quarter. The main issue seems to be one's faith in a post-pandemic hospitality industry resurgence. Would you buy in? Or is there a key metric I'm missing?

Q: CSU reported on Friday and beat on revenue but missed on earnings. Could you please comment on the results and your opinion as to how the market will react on Tues. Also how do you think the stock will perform over the next one to two Quarters. Thank you for all your help. Ian

I understand you look favorably upon LNF, looking back at questions asked and the weighting in the Income portfolio. But, looking at Operating Cash Flows: I see $2.51 for 2019, estimates of 3.93 for 2020 and a deceleration to $1.96 for 2021. That is a big drop, and should mean that the stock is currently, at best fairly valued and at worst, going to see a large reduction. Can you comment please, as I am interested in adding the company.

Q: I am having a hard time valuing some of these growth companies and when to buy.... I bought REAL ahead of earnings and took a bath.... REAL missed earnings by one penny yet doubled previous earnings and painted a rosy outlook in it's conference call ..... I still like REAL but Mr Market doesn't ......Now I am considering XBC which according to 5I's company report was expensive at $7 a share.... So the question is to buy now { if I can get it under $10 } or wait a week until after earnings ? I am well aware these companies are priced according to the future but would like to minimize at least some of the volatility .... So this is simply a before or after question . If 5I wanted to purchase XBC would you do it now or wait until the earnings report ?
