Q: Wanting to diversify my bank stocks heavy cash account into more growth opportunities over the last couple of years , I have added BN, LMN, GSY ( and have done well , thanks ).
I have followed FSV and TFI for years , never buying. Basically , both were too expensive in my eyes. However I now see FSV as an asset light company with blowout earnings and TFI a company with strong management caught in a cyclical downturn. Which would be your next purchase and why ? Thanks. Q: Good afternoon 5i,

I looked back and the last question on this company was late May. As we come to the close of July, the "noise" on this company seems to be picking up, with a fair number of "experts" in the various media suggesting it is one to hold onto as the purchase of Discover evolves and Capital One starts taking advantage of the synergies. The noise being generated is enough to get me curious.

I would appreciate your opinion on this company as a buy at current prices, with the idea of holding in an RRSP and switching out of one of my Canadian Financials in an effort to diversify. If not a buy now, is there a price where it is, or is this company one to stay back from?

Q: Can I please your opinion on earnings? They seemed ok and the company upped guidance, so I was a bit confused why it went down 9% today.

Q: Looking for your thoughts on the earnings and why the 6+% drop. I went through the news release and only issue I see was with UK and US results. Is that enough to move the stock that much in a day? The CEO seemed quite positive on the results and future prospects. Q: Hi, I still have 2000 shares of DND which I bought at much higher levels. With the yet again announcement of a another strategic review, would you sell 1/4 (or even 1/2) position into this mini rally...up approx 30% today vs yesterdays close. As we all know this stock has been a major disappointment for various/multiple reasons the last several years....yet once showed so much promise. I have reluctantly held on hoping/praying ;) for a buyout. What do you think a fair price might be in a buyout situation...around the $20 level? I thought that number was mentioned in a news release several weeks ago.
I suspect if the strategic review fails again, this stock will retreat back to the $7 range.
I recall you suggested a sell perhaps a year ago or so.

Q: I have no exposure to crypto currencies but I am intrigued by various forecasts of major future price gains for Bitcoin and other products.

Q: What is your opinion of global x’s leveraged index etf’s GLOBAL X ENHANCED MSCI EAFE INDEX ETF and GLOBAL X ENHANCED S&P 500 INDEX ETF?
It is likely that they would outperform their non levered indexes over time? Would you consider them buyable currently, with the small AUM’s. Is there a levered corporate class etf that does not pay distributions?
