Q: Many companies stand to benefit from the rise of nuclear energy. Is this a good time to invest (long term) in such companies? I am especially interested in the risk-reward profile of the following: Cameco(CCJ), Constellation Energy(CEG), Centrus Energy(LEU) and NexGen Energy(NEX). Are there others that you prefer (Canadian or U.S.)? Or do you believe an ETF focused on uranium/nuclear energy would be a better investment at this time? Thanks for your help. You provide a great service!

Q: This sentence comes from an Goldman Sachs article. What are some examples of the “Utilities” companies referred to here? ….he sees more room for the AI theme to run and expects AI beneficiaries to broaden out beyond just Nvidia, and particularly to what looks set to be the next big winner: Utilities.

Q: So it looks like we are heading into a real electric energy shortage in the US. What utility companies are going to prosper into the next 5 years. Sad to think that coal is not showing any signs of a slow down.
Thanks Again

Q: hi all:

looking at the total nuclear complex from producers to manufacturing to servicing to repairing.............the whole industry now and into the future

besides the producers (i own cco and nxe) who do you see as potential investable companies over the next 5+ years

(in services, i own bwxt)

more specifically, i'm hearing more that small modular reactors will show good potential for our energy grid, who do you foresee as playing a role in building and servicing?

......and anything else you care to add on this theme!

thank you

Q: Hi
I recently learnt about the AI energy consumption issue. What opportunities/threats does this issue pose to investors? Are there specific subsectors or types of companies (within the energy sector) that will benefit from or be hit through the course of the AI story?
Any specific recommendations ETFs or stocks?
Thank you

Q: Looking to build a position in renewable. You often suggested Brookfield but digging the sector, results of Constellation seem more impressive. I don't know what to do. Your analysis and advice will be appreciated;

Q: Hello 5i Team

I currently hold in my US$ denominated RRSP Brookfield Renewable Partners L.P. (BEP) to avoid complications with taxation of BEP.UN in a taxable account.

I want to proceed with buying Brookfield Renewable Corporation (BEPC) in my taxable account to receive Canadian Eligible Dividends. I would then sell my BEP holdings in the RRSP.

Could you please provide your top 5 ideas in the US market (i.e. NYSE or NASDAQ listed) for electrical utility and or renewable electrical generation to replace the BEP units in my RRSP.

Thank you
