Q: Just a question, With all the talk in regards to EV sales and charging stations on the news channels, I have never heard where these people who living in condos, apartment block, etc. are going to park and charge their vehicle over night. Yet in the year 2030, I believe our PM is going to no longer make gasoline vehicles available. It just makes me wonder since, I one of these people who lives in western Canada, how are the people in central Canada going to solve this problem.

Q: Hello friends,
Still not sure how to handle NBLY's CVRs. Since they landed in my RRSP account, my broker gave me two options: to sell the security or to transfer it out.
My question though is, if I transfer them out, do I still need to sell them explicitly sometime in 2026 or they will transform (hopefully) into $0.61 per share automatically?
Many thanks!

Brookfield Infrastructure Partners L.P. (BIP.UN $42.38)
Q: Thank you for your ranking of Canadian utilities last week-our investment club had a lengthy discussion yesterday afternoon over the rankings. I found it difficult to defend BIP.UN as first pick with 6:1 debt, meagre/erratic EPS, and growing share dilution vs CPX having similar posted growth rates, 1.5:1 debt, decent EPS and slower share dilution. Any assistance and clarification on this greatly appreciated. Thank you
Q: Your thoughts on ERD. Is it a buy, sell or hold? Thanks

Q: Hi is it time to move on from CELH?. I bought recently and down 16% already. Can you please advise if it's a sell, hold or add and why. Thanks
Q: Gentlemen;
Are you surprised in the current weakness in the price action since earnings were released?
Do you think this is a decent entry point?

Q: When do they report first quarter results?
Q: I have had GSY in my TFSA for a number of years and am pleased with the performance. For this year’s TFSA contribution I am torn between adding to GSY or starting a new position in PRL. I’m concerned about PRL’s steep runup recently and the potential for a sharp decline once I buy (of course!). I actually don’t mind a short term decline as I am intending this as a longterm hold but I do have concerns about catching the PRL wave as it crests. Given the metrics between these two and the current buy price, what are your thoughts on these two - GSY for it’s stellar track record or PRL for outperformance in growth. Thanks for your thoughts!

Encore Wire Corporation (WIRE)
Q: Hi 5i,
It looks like Prysmian (from Italy) has made an offer to acquire Encore Wire @ $290.00/share. Encore has 35 days to shop around for other proposals. It also looks like there may be a lawsuit against the Board for failing to conduct a fair process.
What would be your recommendation at this point in the process? Sell or hold?
I was really hoping that this would be a long term hold.
If one were to sell what would be another similar company that you would recommend for a long term hold? Something in the "electrification" and renewables would be preferred.
I already own HPS, PWR, NXT which I suppose I could add to but I may have to trim HPS due to its run up.
How do you feel about MYR Group or Sterling Infrastructure?
Thanks!

Q: Does CNQ or IMO benefit from the increased capacity of the Trans Mt Pipeline ? If yes or no pls elaborate why for each. Are there any other beneficairies coming to light now that the start is near ? Thank you.
Q: I hold Upstart Holdings. It is down 80% from when I bought it. I have continued to hold it as I am hoping it may bounce when rates go down. And with its AI model, am hoping it could do quite well when lending picks up. But I see you really like Propel Holdings and, while a Canadian company, it sounds like most of its business is in the US. Could you compare and contrast the two companies? Would you favor a swap from Upstart to Propel? I also hold Goeasy in the space. Thank you.

Q: I have one stock whose ACB has reached zero as a result of repeated ROC charges. Is it possible for a stock to have a negative ACB as a result of further ROC charges? How is the ROC paid when the ACB is zero?
Q: With all the new tech and sensors built into new cars, a lot of these cars do not make into the shop doors after an accident as they are now just written off as to expensive to fix. The part suppliers cost has gotten out of hand and the insurance companies are just had of enough of this cost increase to fix. EVs are even more difficult to repair in the shop and need special training and equipment. Car insurance has been the highest inflation % increase. It makes me wonder what is going to happen to say BYD and other repair shops. One thing for certain, it is going to cost the auto driver a lot more for insurance in the future.
Thanks Again

Q: Can you comment on what percentage of Propels sales are US domiciled and what that is likely to look like in the future?
