Q: I'm up 250% on MDA in my TFSA and even after previous trimmings it's still a 13% weight. After this run do I trim again or just hold my nose and keep? Thanks

Q: I have self directed RRSP. It is made up of equities and fixed income investments. I have investments in 16 companies of which 10 are in the Income Model Portfolio. My goal for this account is to have safe reliable dividends with moderate capital appreciation. For the past year I have invested all dividends in money market account. The money market account now makes up 8% of my account. I am 66 years old and do not need the dividend income currently but I will be using as part of my regular income in 2 to 4 years. I plan to buy 2 companies from money market account funds. Would you recommend CSH.UN as part of my portfolio?

Q: I have a cash account with CDN stocks and CDRs. I am retired but will not need to dip into this account for at least 5 years. I am thinking of converting all the holdings into 5 or 6 etfs, all in CDN$, to reduce my time managing this account, while still holding the probability of a reasonable amount of growth.
I have not yet started the switch over but at the moment my list is : XIU and WXM for 30% Canadian; ZSP, XQQ and FCMO for 60% US; and VE for 10% other.
The usual questions about the overall strategy, alternative/better ETFs to hold, or other suggestions.
Thanks
Elliott

Q: I am seeking your opinion on gold investments in light of recent announcements in China requiring insurance companies to hold 1% of assets in physical gold. Could this have a material impact on price of gold? already factored into price of gold? Would you consider AEM an attractive opportunity at these prices or have a more reasonably priced alternative? thanks
Q: Would you support selling VOO for VEU for a better return on investment?
Q: Any news on MDT today to cause a 3.7% jump? Thanks a lot.
Q: Hi 5I
I own both SMCI and NBIS. I’ve done very well with both, but my question is is about moving some or all funds from SMCI to NBIS for the reason NBIS may be a much better company.
Volatility doesn’t bother me, just looking at potential end results. Thanks very much for putting me on these two names as I’ve very well

Q: Could you please provide your analysis of GE Vernova.
We have been interested in the Co, for exposure to Power Infrastructure sector/Nuclear. However, stock has continued to march to new highs, except for past 2 weeks, following a general weakness in most momentum names.
Do you like the Company and would you be comfortable buying at current levels, say $600. after the pull back ? ( More so, stock exhibiting a little bit of support around $585-$595, in Wednesday's trading ).
Thank You

Q: Any hope for this one? Please recommend a couple of golds you think would provide a better return.
Q: Are the flat earnings and revenue meaningful for this company? Or is there something I am missing here that make this one more attractive? Thx.
Q: PLTR Palantir stock plunges.

Q: Hi,
I've been a longtime customer of BMOInvestorline and have been happy. However, I've seen WealthSimple offering to pay customers a 1% bonus to transfer accounts to them. For example, if I transfer an unregistered account in kind with a value of $1M, then I would receive $10K from WealthSimple paid over 10 months.
That seems like a very good ROI for the few hours that it will take me to complete the forms and submit them to WealthSimple to complete the transfer. They also don't charge any commissions on trades, unlike BMO.
I have a friend who transferred $3M and will start collecting $30K over 12 months. Not too shabby.
How do they make money when they are paying customers 1% to transfer accounts and then don't charge commissions?
Robert

Q: In light of PLTR’s decline now can you think of other similar companies from the past that have come back and become market staples now…. Like an apple, Microsoft. Or an industrial or energy stock ? Or is PLTR such an anomaly that a more significant drop might be in the offing?
Q: Do you think safe to buy LMN.V today since it has been dipped more than 10% from the highest price? Do you see any reason been dipped so much?
Q: Sorry, yet again another NBIS & CRWV question.
You say you prefer NBIS over CRWV because of valuation. But I'm also curious if you are a fan of their other non-"Nebius AI" product like Toloka, TripleTen, AvRide.
Seems CRWV is more of a pureplay on what Nebius AI does?

Q: B. RILY Financial Corp. (RILY:US) seems to be in the middle of a dramatic turnaround after an ugly 3 years. In your estimation is this turnaround "real" or just a possible short-term trading opportunity?
Many thanks,
