Q: Is there much duplication between xaw and vee? I'm aiming to be properly diversified internationally. I hold both as well as cdz as a part of a balanced eft equity portfolio. Thoughts?

Q: I have received a proof of claim form for Amaya Inc. Securities, Seattle respecting a class action suit. I have received a dozen of these for companies that I have held in the past. My one experience of spending many hours filling out forms and paperwork and research and dealing with Siskinds LLP was after 2 years and a lot of my time, in the hopes of recovery my losses ($5,000.00), I received $150.00. Is it worthwhile for shareholders to go through this, or is it strictly a benefit to the lawyers to collect names for their suit?
As I started to bring this to your attention, I noticed someone has written in about webinars. Where do I find them? Thank you Dennis

Q: Based on some of my recent readings, it appears that companies with long term vs short term thinking and decision making processes outperform in the long run. A few companies that come to mind for me would with management teams that don’t worry only about their quarter to quarter numbers would be CSU, JPM, Berkshire and Amazon. Can you name as many companies as you see fit that meet this criteria ‘long termsism’ thinking that would be good long term buys in the USA or Canada? Thanks again

Q: Hi, taking a licking on energy with wcp down 40% and vet down 25%, is it best to hold until after tax loss selling and hope for a turnaround?
It is hard to figure with Trump trying to keep oil low, more renewable energy, Saudi’s turning on more supply, no pipelines, feds not really helping, carbon tax, and of course a big discount we give away to the USA losing billions.
It looks really bad, maybe I should add as this may be the low? Your thoughts, buy ,hold, or sell

Q: Why has there been such a huge drop in the share price over the last few trading sessions? I can’t find any company specific news. Does it have to do with the uncertainty in the market due to the Saudi situation since it operates in Egypt? Oil price has dropped but not as much as the stock price of TGL.

Sdx stock price has acted similarly and both appear cheap. Is it worth buying a little more of both or wait for more positive momentum?

Q: Hi Peter, Ryan, and Staff,
Even though I 'thought' I had elected to receive some BIP shares with the sale of ECI, I notice today that all of my ECI shares were sold. Thanks again to 5i.:)
ECI was held in my TFSA, and my only Industrial holdings in this account are SIS and TFII. If I want to stay in the same sector, would you suggest deploying the new cash by adding to either or both stocks, or investing in a new Industrial stock or even an ETF like ZIN? Thanks as always for your valued advice.
