Q: What are your top three small cap stocks regardless of sector or country?

Q: Would you consider AQN a buy now for a 5 year hold?
Q: Hi - I know you are big fans of NBIS ( ORCL somewhat) - they are both off 20% + from recent highs - any reason for this sudden loss of momentum and reversal? The rest of tech seems to be doing ok - just profit taking?
Q: Hi 5i,
For these 3 companies, how would you rank them with regards to management and future growth prospects?
Would you be buyers of any of them at this time or wait until a particular time in the future?
If buying them now, in what order would you buy them (best to worst)?
Thank you!

Q: Dear Peter et al:
Both NBIS and SMCI report earnings in early November. (7th&10th)
What are your predictions?
I own positions in both, more so in NBIS than in SMCI. BUT not full positions.
I am particularly worried about SMCI as they are notoriously known to report spurious numbers and get "whacked"! But the price seems to hold steady. If anything it seems to be going up slightly.
NBIS has been drifting lower. Is it because Smart money is expecting bad news? Or people locking in their profits?
Tempted to write cash secured puts for NBIS. An easy way to add IMHO. What Strike Price would you suggest for Nov 7th expiry?
(I know I will get assigned if the earnings report goes ugly!)
Many thanks for your words of wisdom.

Q: I have held SIS for 10+ years what do you see for earnings growth over the next 1-3 years. Thanks
Q: Dear Peter:
On surface this looks like a simple and even a "dumb" question. However I am struggling with this question as it impacts on not just my portfolio but almost everyone's!
What is a Bubble? Are there any acceptable definitions of a "Bubble"? Is Bubble a Technical Analysis based concept or a Fundamental Analysis based concept? Do they share any similarities? Is a Bubble applicable to all of the market or is it confined to just one domain? (Gold is in a Bubble but not Silver, not yet) Finally is the definition of a Bubble Static or Dynamic phenomenon? In other words what was a Bubble in 2000/2001 (dot com Bubble) is NOT a Bubble now!(AI phenomenon?)
Financial media gives a lot of opinions filled with "hyperbole"! "Sell now" we are in a Bubble! Others say, "No, wait till Gold hits 6000"!
It is important as one needs to sell or add in a prudent, well thought out and rational manner. Hence this question.
If you think this behooves not an answer but an article, so be it. I will wait! No problems.

Q: I recently came across some news about this company, namely that it had suddenly terminated a strategic review to maximize shareholder value, and instead has sold a $60M asset with the intention to distribute the proceeds (0.90 on a $1.35 share!) to its shareholders. You have just one (older) question on this company. Can you comment on it in general, and also specifically on this procedure: how this might benefit the company and what will happen to its valuation?
