Q: Could you explain to me STARLIGHT Investments and their multiple subsets. In Nov 2019, I was interested in the Continuum Reit IPO, but Starlight took over the Reit before the IPO for 1.72B, no small deed !! Where did the funds come from for such a young company, debt only? Are the many Starlight Multi-Family units Closed-end Funds? Limited PartnerShips? Do they have an « expiration » date ? Thanks.

Q: What are your thoughts on Oscar Health?
Q: Organic Garage released results which I found disappointing. However the CEO is touting results were "good" and sets up the company well. Cash position seems to be fine.
I'm just not sure what to make of these results.
Can I have your opinion please. Thanks John

Q: AMD announced acquisition of Xilinx has been approved by EU & UK. USA issued a `no comment' what does that mean. Is this a tacit approval ? It is expected that China will approve since as of now no serious objects or concerns have been communicated to any of the companies.
Based on the offer terms, Xilinx share value is almost 13-15% under valued. Why is that ? Is the market betting that the China approvals will not be given.
And by when is China's decision expected ?
Appreciate your advise as always,
Thanks
Rajesh

Q: Hi 5i Team,
With the recent slide with these "recovery" companies, would you consider this a good time to be picking them up?
Any reason for the recent weakness? I saw that CCL is exploring a tender offer for its secured notes so is this a cash cushion concern?
Would also appreciate if you could rank them from best to worst (in your opinion) in terms of potential upside as of now.
Thanks in advance for your comments!

Q: Follow up to my question about CAE having 121% institutional ownership. You answered.
: "Generally this refers to the percentage of the float, and the results can be skewed with a large short interest. But, the short interest on CAE is minimal, and Bloomberg shows 86%. This is likely a data error from our third party provider and we will contact them."
Firstly am I assuming correctly that Bloomberg is showing 86% institutional ownership, not short interest.
Secondly where would you suggest I look to double check the info in the profile page? Is there a web site you would recommend that would confirm the data? I have checked several and no two give me the same information.

Q: Good morning,
I am assuming with the pandemic easing and hopes some sense of normal is coming that banks will be allowed to raise dividends more regularly.
Would you see a need to switch from ZWB to FIE ?
Thanks
Jimmy

My question is: do you have to include in calculation of Total Amount any cash siting in my US account?
Andrew

Q: Hi Guys,
Really like your recent blog post "These are the stocks you should hold on to....". I wonder where we would be able to find these metrics mentioned in the article for a stock, especially growth rate, profit margin, and sales growth rate.
Also, what is happening for "APPS", the share price is just dropping day by day event on days that general markets are up. I have a small position about 1% of my portfolio, currently underwater, should I add more, hold on or sell?
Thanks

Brookfield Infrastructure Corporation Class A Exchangeable Subordinate Voting Shares (BIPC)
Q: Does the Brookfield offer for IPL include an option to only receive .225 of a BIPC share, instead of a mixture of shares and cash. I got lost in the fine print when they started talking about pro-ration and market value of the incremental 8 million BIPC shares.
Q: RBC likes this business. Its work is in India so not on your normal beat but I wonder if you have any thoughts about it
