Q: Confused by the reaction of these 3 names. EMA/FTS up materially and BIP.UN down so far this year. Thoughts on why? Also on EMA with a 29% return YTD the stock must be stretched. Would you suggest a switch to BIP.UN?

Q: Can you tell me more about Foran Mining Corp(FOM) . Especially in its longer term outlook and the insider buying and holders which drew my attention to the stock. The CEO Daniel Myerson, has been buying, so has Fairfax Financial and Canada growth fund. What do you think of the CEO? Prem Watsa’s interest? and Canada Growth fund Inc? Do they know something we don’t about the future of the company? Thank you.

Q: Good Morning,

I am a retired income investor who recently received a small $40k USD inheritance.
I would like to purchase US dividend paying equities (for geographic exposure) but am concerned about the withholding tax.

Is there any vehicle available to avoid or lessen the tax? I have no room in my registered account.

What are you highest conviction US stocks with plus 4% yield and some growth potential.?

Q: I reviewed the executive commentary for the most recent quarter of AMD and found it somewhat less than inspiring. Nevertheless the stock did OK. Was this just going along on an up market day or were there hidden gems that I missed

I understand these are speculative plays. Any idea why bmnr is surging daily whereas sbet surges than drops. From my understanding , sbet keeps issuing shares and as a result is not doing as well. I thought issuing shares to buy more ether was the goal.. i would appreciate your comments.
