Q: Hi there, regarding your response today about CNQ, SU, CVE (generally oil stocks), why would you be comfortable buying any of the three recommended? Especially if the war ends relatively soon, S of H opens allowing oil to flow smoothly again and with the over supply story surfacing again sooner rather than later?

Q: I am sitting on a fair bit of cash in my portfolio and would like to start transitioning into dividend paying stocks. I have looked through the income portfolio and notice that quite a few of them are near all time highs. I know you don't like trying to time the market but do you think it would be prudent to wait for the current market volatility to pass before starting to build positions. Looking at Stingray group and TD, they have both almost double in the last year. Thoughts?

Q: I've noticed 5i has had some rather negative comments on HBND { yield 11.8% } lately . Is HPYT { yield 18.25% } essentially the same product ? ..... And does 5i hold the same negative views toward it ? .... What effect on unit price would the end of the war have ? Thanks for your terrific service ......

Q: In a recent answer you stated "while we might not be too excited about the outlook for real estate". Could you please expand on your thoughts. In addition to a diversified stock portfolio I hold considerable investments in rental income properties - multi-residential and commercial in the Kitchener/Waterloo area. At 69yo I'm considering going more conservative like increasing my GIC holdings.

Q: Any thoughts on CHAC/Xanadu? Looks risky but maybe promising?

Q: Recently your team viewed MDLZ as expensive. I'm assuming that this is mainly based on squeezed margins and lower earnings (?), because I see P/S and P/CF as reasonable.

I know GIS likely shares similar issues. Technically, if GIS got to the $32 level, it would seem like an extremely good buy if it could ever get the margins under control.

Do you see either as a better buy than the other? I would assume that there would be no concern on either company's debt or dividend ?

Q: In a recent response to a question regarding what three things an investor should do during periods of market turmoil, the third suggestion was to be on the lookout for bargains. Gold mining stocks have been mercilessly sold off recently. However, at this moment the gold price is $4640. At this price, gold companies are gushing cash. I have scoured the gold stock universe looking for bargains. At less than 10x earnings and with visible growth in the future, do you consider Torex Gold to be a bargain at this moment? Assuming the gold price stays above $4000, could you also suggest two other gold companies (excluding AEM, LUG, and ARIS) that might be considered bargains right now?

Q: Would appreciate your comments on this company. Full-year results for 2025 were released yesterday. On the conference call they described developments in Montana, Alaska, Mexico and Australia as well as a very large tungsten deposit just west of Sudbury and other growth opportunities as well as much broader institutional investor support, now up to 40%.

Q: What are your thoughts about what is happening to silver now a days? Silver usually good for inflation, yet not good when US$ strong. Seems like we have opposite influence going on now and US$ strength winning. Is that all there is influencing silver, some say market is being influenced by the paper silver and some large institutions allegedly. do you think that has anything to do with it? Seems to me, with all the demand for silver, inflation etc, silver should be headed north, not getting slaughtered. Your thoughts please.

Q: Hi Team,
In reference to discussion over MU earnings and the market not giving them any credit: I watched a clip yesterday I thought made a lot of sense in regards to the sector's historically "cyclical" nature. The guy was basically saying that with AI and the way the world has changed that the cyclicality of the chip sector is almost a "thing of the past" going forward. Demand brought on by AI is expected to essentially keep growing. More and more of everything we use and do now will be requiring chips. Right now the market seems like it does not believe the numbers that MU just put out will last more than a quarter. This just seems wrong. It makes sense to me that this guy may be correct in saying that we should not value these types of names as being so cyclical anymore. To me the way AI and technology is headed it looks almost like these names should be more viewed now as consumer staples, a necessity in today's life. Not sure what your thoughts all are on this? Would you agree?

Q: Hi there, can you please provide which brokerages have a negative outlook on WELL? And why they're able to continually hold this stock down... consistently?

The positives are understood, so please help explain what is actually hated about this company and its stock? Nothing the company does seems to really matters, no real institutional support, sector they are in seems hated... for longer periods, etc

Which brokerages are the most negative on WELL, are reports available? Do they have valid reasoning to stay negative on WELL?

Are they still diluting existing shareholders? Is WELL's debt the issue?

Hoping to understand as much as possible about the markets negative reasoning to push the share price consistently lower on just about all news from the company!

Looking for all negative reasoning to help convince me to finally walk away from this disaster of a stock!!!

Looks as though its a trading stock rather then a long term investment, thoughts?
