Q: Please comment on the XTC results. Would you still hold it? I also have MG and LNR. equal weight, all represent 9% of my portfolio. Making money on all. Should I make any changes here? Looking for growth.

I have some cash in my TFSA. My return in this account has not been good.
I am looking to invest in a growth stock. Of all of these stocks I listed, which one would you recommend for me to invest in?

And if there is a better stock, which would you recommend?

Q: i own both yangarra and surge, they both announced results in the last days and they were excellent on every metric, they are making tons of money even with oil between 42-48, and yet the stocks do squat.why, is this just sentiment towards oil, does the market feel oil is going to 30-35, do investors fear electric cars, i just do not get it. dave

In your collective opinion what would push Vet down and not WCP
I owned vet for some time and feel it is solid due to its international exposure but I think I am wrong .
I am down 10% and wonder if I should cut my losses and move on.

Q: The Russell 2000 has had a nice run up and now appears to be descending. I need US$ and would like to realize my profits in US$ while the Cdn$ is strong. As I have Loss carry forwards for tax purposes there will be no tax payable on this transaction. I would consider buying back in to IWO if you feel the Russell 2000 will reverse and start to rise again. What do you think at this time about investing in IWO? Mike

Q: Just comments.AIF-basing on better than expected Q2 revenue & eps,3 firms(TD,CF & RY) raised target price to $36 & upgraded stock.Reportedly best one day performance since 8/15 PKI-RY & BNS downgraded target price to $31 & $33.75 CGX-6 out of 7 firms downgraded to $46-$52.1st time in the last 3 years that Ellis Jacob is not that upbeat in interview on BNN after release of results. In this strong earnings season,strong results will be handsomely rewarded(eg AIF,SHOP,TOY),& vice versa.

Can you please comment on PPL's most recent quarter - it appears to me to be good one. I hold this for income mostly, but would like to get your comments about the prospects for share price appreciation as well; the whole sector seems to be out of favour. Given the most recent results, do you anticipate dividend increases from this company going forward?

Q: Hi 5i team,
Can I get your assessment of FCR's most recent quarter? Appeared to be a bit lackluster to me. Apart from interest rate sentiment that seems to keeping most REIT share prices down, are there any heightened business risks to this company given the type and location of the properties they own? And is the current payout ratio reasonable in your opinion?

Q: ZCL--It appears it missed expected eps by 0.01 & this is 2nd Q in a row.Please your take on results & going forward. SIS reports on Aug 10 & may I have your view.If I recall,it did a financing of 2.76m shares @ $13.90 about 3 mos ago. Appreciate u usual great services & opinions
